I feel you bro the Flyweight division needs more catch-weights and 50 year old competing for a title ; maybe Chocolatito can create his own division like Canelo-- And what about that ugly fact that Gonzalez title (WBC FW) has the longest linage in boxing? that really sucks... these midgets actually fighting each other what are they trying to prove?
Roman says he's targeting Ruenrong for Feb, then Gallo later this year

After the Casimero mess, don't care if I see Ruenroeng or not but if Roman or Estrada is the end of the rainbow then full unification is great. Roman has a chance to clean it out before he moves up and should take that shot. This, Estrada, Nietes, and Ioka are all fights that would be welcome in 2016. Two of them would be great.
That said, I'm not holding my breath on Ruenroeng. When was the last time a Thai fighter attempted to unify? Watanabe-Poontarat?Comment

Would depend on how the fight went down. If Ruenroeng boxed relatively clean like with Ioka, and won, I think he could get the nod if he earned it. The stuff from Casimero? That likely gets, and deserves, a DQ, anywhere from home.Comment

hell there are people who think arroyo won the fight vs rueonroeng which imo laughable..
ONLY because ruenroeng was dirty, I predict the same scenarioComment

I just think its a bad style match up for roman , the problem I have with this fight is there is a huge chance of bias against a known dirty fighter..

That said, I don't see this as all that realistic. He's not going to fetch much US $ and that's a lost titlist who can sell in Thailand. Be surprised if the business side made sense for Ruenroeng.
I agree on Arroyo...but that fight was close for eight and Arroyo isn't Gonzalez. Gonzalez could finish him if he got the shot.Comment

He's a bad style match for anyone but it's not bias to enforce the rules. If he can't grapple incessantly, I don't think he's got enough offense to earn a decision. He's a smart, tough dude though. He has a way, like BHop or Wlad, to force a fight NOT to break out. Ugly but effective.

anyways, i'd love to see it and I believe roman wins IF the fight is clean
but this is boxing , if you can get away with it from the refs eyes, it should not reflect against you in the judges eyes..
or else bhop , sandy saddler wouldn't have been what they were/are...

not bias to enforce the rules but bias people are always involved in boxing.

quitting and stealing the belt.
When the wbc finally demands he face his mandatory or he'll be
stripped he'll just move up and find new bums to beat up in a different
division.
It'll probably be a couple more years before they strip him though...
My point is this kid would be more likely to shoot himself in the head than fight Inoue or Gonzalez...Comment
