Soo if Thurman, Brook, Maidana, Porter, Garcia are B and most less...Than Andy "Chavez Jr. Stomped the sht out of" Lee, and Mario Lemuix are D/F fighters!!! GGG is the ONLY "A" fighter in that whole god damn division.More like you don't like the guys at the top of those divisions so you rank them lower not to give any of the fighters prop.
Jr. Lightweight and Lightweight are worst.
Welter is a decent division but without Manny and Floyd is totally way less impressive with most fighters there B ranked at best.
The only A level fighter there is Bradley.Comment

many posters seem to ignore this, and prefer to believe that canelo will be doing the MW title hostage...Can't really hate on Alvarez for this. If he wants to suck down to 155lbs and fight that's his right. He offered Golovkin the fight at 155lbs and has yet to ever fight at 160lbs.
As for the title, it really doesn't mean alot to Canelo. He's not one to parade around advertising himself as the MW champion after he beats Cotto. After he lost to Mayweather, the WBC offered to let Alvarez fight for a 'regular champion' title, he refused saying Mayweather was the only real champion. He also refused to fight for Lara's title for the same reason. I respect that.Comment

What else is there for Cotto after this fight? Some hypotheticals...I commend cotto for winning the middlweight belt and beating Martinez and geale....looked rejuvenatad and he has done great for boxing.....it would not surprise me after the canelo fight win or lose he hangs them for good.....if he is earning 30 mil for this...why carry on.....but all I'm saying now is there is a totally different beast on the prowl in that division now and it's a different game ....so cotto should be wise and walk away because after the canelo fight what else is there for him
1. If he wins, a rematch with Floyd.
2. If he loses, a farewell fight to fulfill his RocNation contract against someone like Bradley.
I agree with you, though, that there really is little left for Cotto to accomplish after this fight.Comment

What you said about Canelo improving is right (my comment was in part based on frustration- How could somebody with such good hands be so deficient on his feet?). Canelo is a hard worker, and if the circumstances are right (the right trainer, and Canelo's acceptance of working to improve his footwork), then he could improve. But I will need to see it to believe it!Well his upper game is good....his combinations are good..his timing is good .and he is showing improved power..he is only 25 ....he will never be super quick on his feet but it can be lifted for sure ....I don't these trainers will improve anything he is doing now and that's the point.....he likes the comfort of his Spanish family and sees comfort with them....Lewis changed with his whole game when he went with emamuel steward and he was 30....so I believe if worked on solid for 6 months you could improve his speed of foot...and if he not being taught it he ain't gonna learn it..that's my pointComment

Which is a fkn lot more than Golovkin has ever done to land a mega fight.
That hypejob won't even fight one of the little guys.
He said he could do it.Comment

Golovkin could stop being such a vagina and start being a man of his word ?I commend cotto for winning the middlweight belt and beating Martinez and geale....looked rejuvenatad and he has done great for boxing.....it would not surprise me after the canelo fight win or lose he hangs them for good.....if he is earning 30 mil for this...why carry on.....but all I'm saying now is there is a totally different beast on the prowl in that division now and it's a different game ....so cotto should be wise and walk away because after the canelo fight what else is there for him

I agree, and they are not the only improvements that he needs to make.
The thing is, we know all that about Canelo, because he is willing to be tested by his peers.
You can't tell me how Golovkin would fare against an elite fighter.
He could go ok.
He said that he goes ok.
But yea, not sure.
I suspect that Golovkin would not beat Canelo at 155.
Golovkin said that he could beat Canelo at 155, but it looks like he will avoid the opportunity to back up those words..... just like he did with Ward..... so they probably know Golovkins weaknesses.Comment

You want GGG to go up a weight class and fight the best guy in that division straight up and since he doesn't you call him a ducker blah blah blah
Yet you have no problem with Ward taking 3 tune ups to fight a guy in a division he has already fought at?
Agendas bro it's obvious with youComment

We won't know until they fight, and at the rate they are going it will be a long wait if ever.I agree, and they are not the only improvements that he needs to make.
