I agree! Canelo doesn't have a bum in front him him like GGG did! He's spending more time and energy answering questions about GGG than on the man in front of him. It's never a good idea to worry about the next fight before you've even fought your fight.

Jr. Lightweight and Lightweight are worst.

Welter is a decent division but without Manny and Floyd is totally way less impressive with most fighters there B ranked at best.

The only A level fighter there is Bradley.
Soo if Thurman, Brook, Maidana, Porter, Garcia are B and most less...Than Andy "Chavez Jr. Stomped the sht out of" Lee, and Mario Lemuix are D/F fighters!!! GGG is the ONLY "A" fighter in that whole god damn division.

As for the title, it really doesn't mean alot to Canelo. He's not one to parade around advertising himself as the MW champion after he beats Cotto. After he lost to Mayweather, the WBC offered to let Alvarez fight for a 'regular champion' title, he refused saying Mayweather was the only real champion. He also refused to fight for Lara's title for the same reason. I respect that.
many posters seem to ignore this, and prefer to believe that canelo will be doing the MW title hostage...

What else is there for Cotto after this fight? Some hypotheticals...

          1. If he wins, a rematch with Floyd.
          2. If he loses, a farewell fight to fulfill his RocNation contract against someone like Bradley.

I agree with you, though, that there really is little left for Cotto to accomplish after this fight.

What you said about Canelo improving is right (my comment was in part based on frustration- How could somebody with such good hands be so deficient on his feet?). Canelo is a hard worker, and if the circumstances are right (the right trainer, and Canelo's acceptance of working to improve his footwork), then he could improve. But I will need to see it to believe it!

Which is a fkn lot more than Golovkin has ever done to land a mega fight.

That hypejob won't even fight one of the little guys.

He said he could do it.

Golovkin could stop being such a vagina and start being a man of his word ?

He said he could do it.

I agree, and they are not the only improvements that he needs to make.

The thing is, we know all that about Canelo, because he is willing to be tested by his peers.

You can't tell me how Golovkin would fare against an elite fighter.

                  He could go ok.

He said that he goes ok.

                  But yea, not sure.

I suspect that Golovkin would not beat Canelo at 155.

Golovkin said that he could beat Canelo at 155, but it looks like he will avoid the opportunity to back up those words..... just like he did with Ward..... so they probably know Golovkins weaknesses.

You want GGG to go up a weight class and fight the best guy in that division straight up and since he doesn't you call him a ducker blah blah blah
Yet you have no problem with Ward taking 3 tune ups to fight a guy in a division he has already fought at?
Agendas bro it's obvious with you

We won't know until they fight, and at the rate they are going it will be a long wait if ever.
