He needs to fight real MW, Lee or even Jacobs. Cotto is not a MW, but he won the MW title..that a real big deal, 4 weight division champion, future HOF fighter.

Thanks for clearing yourself up, I agree GGG is the best MW out there. But he is not the best, who should of stated that in your first post when you wrote Golovkin is the best..Because we all know he clearly isn't .
I commend cotto for winning the middlweight belt and beating Martinez and geale....looked rejuvenatad and he has done great for boxing.....it would not surprise me after the canelo fight win or lose he hangs them for good.....if he is earning 30 mil for this...why carry on.....but all I'm saying now is there is a totally different beast on the prowl in that division now and it's a different game ....so cotto should be wise and walk away because after the canelo fight what else is there for him

Canelo has shown much better form than Golovkin thats for sure,.

Team Golovkin are well aware that ginger will be a much better fighter after 2-3 full camps designed to prepare him for 160.
I can't/won't deny you your beliefs, but as I said on another thread, Canelo hasn't improved his footwork, and I simply cannot see how he will pose any problem what-so-ever for GGG until he (Canelo) vastly improves his footwork.

Footwork is the one of the most important thing you will need to become a true ring great......great wheels......that was one of most prominent reasons why canelo lost every round to mayweather...he could not get near him to land punches and when he was close enough by the time he was set floyd had countered him and was out the pocket.....canelo needs an American trainer like old emamuel steward or somebody that can get him anticipating fighters......I don't believe reynosos will take him where he needs to be to become a next fighter....I was one of the people that actually thought that canelo would test mayweather but when I watched the fight it was shown he lacked a serious lack of footspeed to cope with movers and boxers....even when I watch him train on youtube preparing for cotto I see him loading up and always on the flats of his feet and never abilty a no movement work.....he was shown to be lacking in the Lara fight as well....so has his footwork improved ? No I don't think so

From the day the Mayweather/Canelo fight was announced, I knew that Canelo's footwork was completely inadequate. And yes, Canelo hasn't improved his footwork, and at this point in his career I am not sure that any trainer could improve Canelo's footwork.

Well to be fair floyd up to that point agaisnt guerrero or cotto ..he did not show the footspeed he once had and that was how I based it on.....in the canelo fight floyd was super quick and quicker than he had been for some time....if floyd was the floyd that beat marquez then like you I thought floyd would have skated it and that was the basis why some people thought canelo could test him....

Well his upper game is good....his combinations are good..his timing is good .and he is showing improved power..he is only 25 ....he will never be super quick on his feet but it can be lifted for sure ....I don't these trainers will improve anything he is doing now and that's the point.....he likes the comfort of his Spanish family and sees comfort with them....Lewis changed with his whole game when he went with emamuel steward and he was 30....so I believe if worked on solid for 6 months you could improve his speed of foot...and if he not being taught it he ain't gonna learn it..that's my point

canelo is too easily rattled. he seems genuinely hurt by people ****tin on him. notice you haven't heard a peep from cotto, because that guy really doesn't give a sht what people think, canelo does. he needs to start answering questions like cotto does "miguel cotto only fights for miguel cotto" thats how you make the media leave you alone. canelo gettin his feelings hurt hes not going into this fight focused.
