Not really...I would be more happy for Lee than excited to see him get GGG. I don't think it ends well for him but he has an equalizer at least.

We know BJS wants no part of GGG, so in the case that he wins... I would be looking forward to seeing Saunders/Eubank II on HBO soon. Maybe on a GGG card or something, help add some new elements ot the division

Saunders already said he won't but at least people will know who he is and that he's ducking so he'll be publicly shamed. Lee will but fighting the Quillin/Jacobs winner is another possibility so HBO airing it to help secure a GGG fight is a smart move.

Chavez Jr Was a damn light heavyweight in that fight, and IMO was probably on something.

Chavez has never looked that good his whole career, not to mention he walked through Lee's left cross like it was nothing.

And I have never seen anyone take Lee's cross like that.

I'd say Chavez Jr was heavier than LHW that night.
Also isn't that one of the times he skipped out on post fight drug test?

That cool and not a great fight but it makes sense for them to pick it up.

I think it will be a better fight than watching Quillin n Jacobs circle and feint for 8 or 9 rounds until Jacobs gets stopped

People always like to discredit Lee with the Chavez loss, but completely leave out he was well over 180lbs in the ring vs Andy and hadn't taken a drug test because they were in Texas. Even then, Andy was stopped on his feet by Lawrence Cole after Andy had been completely outboxing Chavez and nailing him with the same shots that stopped Korobov and dropped Quillin.

They say he was 190 and fully roided out. And the ring was super soft, total shady b.s.

There was also shady stuff over JCC's gloves. Manny Stewart wanted them weighed to prove they werer 10 oz because they were custom and the Texas commission refused to make Julio and Roach prove they were 10's. Could have had on 8oz gloves for all we know. Weight, drug testing and gloves were all corrupt aspects to that fight.

I like Lee a lot. Was very disappointed in his performance against Quillin. Wouldn't mind him getting a payday against GGG but that isn't exactly a good fight.

They're both counter punchers an d neither is comfortable leading it should have been expected.

And before this when asked whether he would unify if he won a title BJ said he wouldn't fight Golovkin for at least 2 or 3 years and planned on just defending it at home. This interview you posted was him being asked on account of previous remarks , BJ was backtracking since nobody wants to hear that you're going to be a protected champion. That's why the public shaming and pressure is necessary this video is evidence of it's effectiveness.

It is not like Lee and Suanders are world beaters or all that exciting either.

It is pretty much a push, decent enough fights that serve a purpose in clearing up the 2nd tier middleweights but I don't expect great things out of any of those 4 guys.
