eye test and talent wise he is a top ten ww...he's beating top 30 or 40 guys like it was too easy..that will get you there...but with that being said..im sick of his opponents and al haymon needs to stop this right now..it was said that 2015 would be his break out year...now we'll hear that about 2016 while he fights no one but aaron martinez...THAT SHOULD BE HIS OPPONENT RIGHT NOW..THIS IS A JOKE

Spence is being hyped as the next great boxer but he isnt there yet

I've seen too many people pass the eye test and not the real one. Spence's whiskers are still kinda shaky to me.

I'm just comparing a 25 year old Spence to other, current fighters and what they all accomplished by the age of 25:

Danny Garcia, 26 or 27 fights, holding wins over Khan, Judah and Matthysse and faded forces in Holt, MOrales and Campbell. He had established himself as THE MAN at 140lbs.

Amir Khan, had 28 or so fights and beaten Judah, Maidana, Kotelnik and Paulie and unified the titles at 140 and with Bradleys runaway from the division, was regarded by most if not everyone as the best in the division wit ha shady loss to Peterson, who most in the UK and the US called a Khan win.

Timothy Bradley, by 25 was a unified lww champion, with wins over Witter and Holt and was highly regarded as one of the best fighters in the division, top 2 no less. He had also shown real grit and guts by travelling to win his first world title and was in line for big things.

Spence is still fighting fringe journeymen.

Khan was the only one mentioned who was an olympic fighter though. And if you compare him to other Olympic fighters such as Andrade or Ward at the age of 25 they hadn't beaten a murderers row either.
