Thats why he retired. At 39 there is nothing left to prove.

      Let the new era begin!!!

I was expecting him to really put a number on him. The end result was that he didn't look as impressive as he did against much more difficult opposition imho.

Where was all the fancy offensive stuff he's used in past fights - pull counters? lead right and duck? And how was it that he wasn't able to do anything when Berto put him against the ropes?

I think if he performed the same way that night against a real quality fighter he could have been in for some trouble.
even tho mayweather didnt look great in that fight or even 50% as sharp as he normally has that alone was STILL enough to beat pacquiao.
pacquaio needs to fight a TOP 147lber
kell brook keith thurman, and shawn porter even danny garcia
at 140 if he's not facing crawford, postol, broner, or amir imam he needs to retire

Negative this is a little different.

Though I don't see it as "suicide" like many others I do acknowledge Golovkin would be the most dangerous challenge of Floyd's career.

In the end Floyd walks away with a half a billion dollars after looking like Roy Jones against John Ruiz lmaO

All the talk is irrevalent !

Jr ducked ALL Prime Elites when it counted and waited like a vulture for elites to fall then fought them claiming they were undefeated. Like it or not that is Jrs Legacy !!!

For Jr to fight GGG now would go against the grain of all that he is. Unless he has money blindness and gets to use the ringers to put his Peds to work.

GGG will catch Jr with the Jab get him on the ropes and when the shots land you will see Jr go down or quit in his corner.

The evidence is all in, like it or not,,,,,of course

The serious threat of him losing is the sell.
golovkin isnt known he only sold 97k
so IF he sold 400,000-700,000 then MAYBE but 97k doesnt get you a fight with mayweather
mayweather maybe WOULD take the bait if he sold some but he has NO incentive to fight ggg

The sell would be the great possibility of Floyd finally losing!

Golovkin presents the most dangerous challenge Floyd has ever faced in his career.

This fight sells off that alone.
the last hope of mayweather losing was pacquiao. the shows over man, golovkin does not have the following to make that a big event. guerrero has more fans than him. and we already know the excuse afterwards is he was drained. not interested.
