A younger, quicker and fresher Floyd who let his hands go would beat Golovkin.

I don't think Floyd could beat GGG now or ever. But who knows. Floyd is clearly the better fighter, but there comes a point when size truly starts to matter. My eyeball test tells me GGG is the real deal (despite his level of competition to this point), and Floyd really has no business in there with a legitimate MW. The best MW in the world I might add.

I wouldn't have a problem with them meeting at 54, but Floyd's not a true 54er, and I believe GGG would be drained, so it would be a bunch of excuses one way or the other.

        Floyd's just too small.

The sell would be the great possibility of Floyd finally losing!

Golovkin presents the most dangerous challenge Floyd has ever faced in his career.

This fight sells off that alone.
              Heard all that before.

Why do you think golovkin would come down to 154 to fight mayweather......because even at 75% strength golovkin would hurt floyd.....he would break his body down....golovkin is an expert of punch delivery and cutting the ring off.....even his with golovkins jab floyd would be in trouble.....the jab alone would affect floyd because it's so accurate.....as what an earlier post said....sooner or later the weight becomes to much and floyd would not beat golovkin..and if he did come back to fight golovkin he would be a silly man for even trying it.....I believe floyd knows how far he can actually take it before it go's terribly wrong....this is one of them

I agree, there are weight classes for a reason...

Floyd said GGG has no special effects and that he would beat him, so if Floyd don't fight GGG at 160 it would Floyd ducking GGG.

Floyd should fight GGG at 160 because that is his legacy fight that will put him in the Duran and SRL brackets.

I think Floyd could survive 12 rounds with GGG at middleweight and that's all hes got to do. The first man to take him the distance is a big achievement. Come on Floyd show us your wizardy, magician defensive skills. Pot shot, run, clinch, use it all and show us your full repertoire. People wont deny you that. This wont be an exciting fight we know, but its intrigueing. Floyd will do what he always does but even more so and people wont begrudge Floyd doing what he has to do.
That loss wont mean much, because you wasn't meant to win, but it will show you did take a risk in your career. You may have taken one or two risks in a career but they were calculated, and in a 18 year career that is few and far between.

well obviously GGG wins this, but I don't see why floyd should feel obliged to fight him anyway. He has done more than enough in the sport.
