Yeah, and it was against Berto LOL. Floyd could have been 50 years old and still beat Berto.

      GGG is too big.

      Floyd doesn't fight at 160.

GGG hasn't done anything to deserve.................

The facts are: Floyd is a 3 time 154lb champ. GGG has offered to fight him there. No need for 160.

If GGG hasn't done anything, what has Berto, Ortiz, the Ghost, Judah, or Maidana done that has made them his choices?? That's what I thought.
Come on man GGG says a lot of things he also said he would fight at 168 clearly not against Ward so I would take whatever GGG says with a grain of salt.

lolwut? He's shot offensively. It was a low output of which like 99% were jabs. He rarely let his hands go and when he did he didn't look all that great. This was Berto he was fighting. I was expecting him to really put a number on him. The end result was that he didn't look as impressive as he did against much more difficult opposition imho.

Where was all the fancy offensive stuff he's used in past fights - pull counters? lead right and duck? And how was it that he wasn't able to do anything when Berto put him against the ropes?

I think if he performed the same way that night against a real quality fighter he could have been in for some trouble.

          I agree.

And the idea of Floyd not leaving 1st gear isn't an excuse because it was his last fight, or supposed to be, so that was his time to put on a show and to me it's clear he couldn't.

There's no point bringing up Golovkin because at this point he squashes Floyd like a g****.

Age certainly has caught up with Floyd. Not a good idea for him to move up to middleweight at this point.

                Age and size.

Mayweather/Golovkin at 154 goes one of two ways. Either a zombified Golovkin gets potshotted by a track star Mayweather for 12 boring rounds, or a healthy Golovkin slaughters an old tiny welterweight. Neither would earn the winner much deserved credit. It's a terribly unrealistic fight that couldn't possibly play out in any way that satisfied boxing fans. Only obsessed haters of whichever fighter lost.

Hard fight guys for Floyd but I see him still pulling the win off..everyone is so blown away smh about the David L fight that we knew wouldnt go past four DL looked like shyt of course GGG looked like a great boxer against a C+ B- fighter Floyd schools GGG 154 but it want matter because Floyd want get credit from the Haters anyway so why talk about it Chumps. On another not yes Im a big GGG fan but he has to prove his self more by going up in weight Floyd have climbed what 5-6 weight classes..I want to see GGG climb atleast one and not Climb down to the smaller guys. Once he does that Ill like him even more.

No question about it he's shot lol, he's 40! Maybe I thought more highly of his performance because I thought it was gonna be a lot uglier than it was.

True, but perhaps retirement is the right medicine to regain that motivation. Most retired people end up missing the job alot more than they thought they would.

You know what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
