Why the hell would Floyd be scared of Khan?

To those who honestly think Mayweather is scared of Khan, tell me why? What does Khan bring to the table that previous opponents haven't / were meant to bring?

For real, because I am lost here.

I don't think he was "scared" but there's always a risk when you face a rule bender. Kahn is really cheap in that he headlocks, pushes, runs, clinches excessively, etc. Who wants that? May does plenty of his own shady tactics but nothing like Kahn. If you fight a guy like Kahn and the ref doesn't intervene, you may get screwed over.

But we all know that for Floyd, the ref will intervene. Like Mayweather Hatton and Mayweather Maidana 2.

He also brings average footwork, a low ring IQ, a biscuit chin, no inside game, no real good defence etc.

There's no way a guy with these attributes could live with Mayweather in the ring. But he would have a good couple of rounds early on.

He brings half an inch more in height and less reach? Has anyone's height troubled Floyd, or speed for more that matter?

He isn't scared of Khan. He has faced and defeated much better, harder hitting and more dangerous fighters than Khan. Khan is the only one saying Mayweather is afraid of him. Khan has a very high opinion of himself and claims lots of boxers are afraid of him. It's too bad he can't show much in real fights. Now that it looks like Crawford will be Pacquiao's final fight I am sure Khan will claim Pacquiao was scared to death of him. Any boxer who can beat Mayweather should go through guys like Diaz and Algieri like a hot knife through warm butter. Khan struggled with them. He didn't beat them by much. Khan has yet to beat a real good welterweight. He should be fighting the likes of Thurman, Porter, or Brook. If he can beat one of them convincingly then his claim that he is the man to beat Mayweather might have some validity. He won't fight guys like this so maybe he is the one who is scared.

I've never understood this one. I think the Manny fanboys or just the Floyd haters like to show their hardcoreness in Floyd "ducking" guys & add Khan's name in there.

Floyd's biggest asset outside of his defense is his timing (imo) & if Danny Garcia's slow ass can time & KTFO of Khan in 4(?) rounds, Floyd was going to embarrass the eff outta Khan if they had fought. At the peak of that talk I was rooting for that fight to get made even though I had zero desire to see it...I just had a great desire to gloat post-fight.

No one in boxing is scared of Khan. Every single fighter honestly believes they'll knock him out.

Khan has no inside game, while Floyd does.

Floyd can negate Khan's speed with timing. And Khan doesn't have much else but speed.
