You ask me why? How should I know?...
... Ward is stubborn -- he maybe didn't rule out that Golovkin fight for good. Anyway, it would be better than fighting Kovalev.

      Urgh...

I'm calling it right now, I think Ward relies heavily on his size advantage over opponents and right now I think he is worrying about that being a no longer relevant advantage for him at 175lbs.

Brand should dismantle him, I hope, if Ward even fancies it.

Brand last fought at 168 in Sept 2014, Ward fought at 172 in the mid 2015. Fight is in Nov 2015 at limit of 175.

How much do you think these guys will actually weigh in at? I think it's gonna be 174 Ward / 173 Brand. Ward has been training for an opponent for almost 2 mths (Aug), so he should have put on some muscle. Brand will just be an out of shape old guy whose extra weight will be more flab than muscle.

... tbh, Ward fought Froch with only one hand (and even that hand got injured during the fight)... But, yes, that was a "mandatory" fight and Ward was not in the position to discard it.

Which size advantage are you referring to? His last two opponents didn't even make weight, he was the smaller man for those fights.
