Well, their other fight fell through, so this guy was found on short notice.
This is his first fight at 175, no big deal. But next fight must be competitive.
How the hell is that an excuse? The initial opponent was even WORSE. The only good thing about this is hopefully Ward will be so accustomed to fighting guys of a lower caliber that when he finally gets in there with Kovalev it'll be too much of a shock and he'll get ktfo.
If this wasn't the co-main for the 2nd biggest PPV of the year, I would totally agree with you.
If Andre is so unsure of himself that he has to fight dudes like this, then that's what he has to do. I just shouldn't have to spend 79 dollars to see it.
ward just had a fight at 172 against a 168 pounder. now he needs a fight at 175 against a 168 pounder? wow baby steps yet ggg has to move up to 168 for his first fight and fight ward? if only you realized what you were saying...
how can they even guarantee that ward will fight kovalev? ok he does the first 2 figths and collects 4 million and then.....promotional dispute time! or injury time! i'm calling it now this fight won't happen. if it does props but its still a compete disgrace that he needs 3 tune ups against smaller guys
