if ward fights kova or stevenson at 175..

Ward didn't move to 175 because he is so incredibly brave. He moved up because he can no longer make 168 comfortably. He is a full sized light heavyweight now. GGG is a smaller middleweight who make 160 with ease. There is no logical reason for GGG to move up to 168. He would only be handicapping himself by fighting men who are naturally bigger than he is. When Ward was comfortable at 168 years ago he made Dawson come down to his weight of 168. He didn't go up to 175 to fight Dawson. There was nothing wrong with that because Dawson challenged him. Just don't make Ward into this fearless warrior who fights above his weight class because he never has.Comment

I am not pretending anything. He is a 175 pounder now and his last fights have not been at 168. If he is a 168 pound fighter there are more good fights at 168 then 175 so why not stay at 168? You go ahead and call him this bold fighter who left his natural weight class to pursue fights. I say he can't make 168 and that's why he moved to 175. I will give him credit for fighting Stevenson and Kovalev when he actually gets in the ring with them and not a year or two in advance. Right now he is trying to get unranked 168 pounders to fight him at 175 on the Canelo vs Cotto undercard.Comment

They pretend Ward is the same size than GGG when Ward won the olympics as light heavyweight and GGG silver as middleweight.Ward didn't move to 175 because he is so incredibly brave. You made that up. He has little left at 168 unless DeGale wants a piece (yea, right). He's moving up for better fights since Golovkin won't fight him at 168. His last was a catch weight because he had a huge layoff. You're not trying to be honest, you're writing a story to suit your feelings about the man.I am not pretending anything. He is a 175 pounder now and his last fights have not been at 168. If he is a 168 pound fighter there are more good fights at 168 then 175 so why not stay at 168? Stevenson? Haha come on, as if that guy ever fights another living body.
Ward is on the same page.
You remember, during the super 6 he was contractually forced to fight the top guys.
It has changed alot since the super 6. Ward will not fight any top guy any time soon.Comment

Would green K if I could.
Ward needs to literally be forced

the super six was molded to suit ward. froch fought in 4 countries and ward fought in 1(his own) how in the world is that fair? kovalev and main events should be very careful with this contract. make sure that they don't fight in oakland so that ward can cheat him with that holding crap and make sure if ward doesn't fight he has to pay a huge monetary penalty to them.Comment

Where'd you get the info regarding Ward having issues making weight? According to Ward's camp he can still make 168lb and until recently, Hunter even stated that he wasn't sure if Ward would move up yet because they were still exploring options (GGG) at that weight class.Ward didn't move to 175 because he is so incredibly brave. He moved up because he can no longer make 168 comfortably. He is a full sized light heavyweight now. GGG is a smaller middleweight who make 160 with ease. And what's with the rhetoric of it being unfair for GGG to move up to 168lb? It's a blatant contradiction to GGG's actual stance on the idea, we all know he'd move up for the right amount of money (Froch, Chavez Jr). Plus it's already well known that he routinely spars with 168lb and 175 lb fighters so I think he'd be fine.
GGG's camp should just tell the truth and move on with it, Ward is too much risk for too little reward. No shame in that, boxing is a business after all .........Comment
