I might be the only one but I'd be in favor of a rematch. I don't think the end result is likely to be anything different, but it will still be interesting to me. These two were far and away the top two guys from this era, so having them go out fighting each other seems fine to me. I don't want to see Khan get a shot, or see Arum try to sacrifice Manny to his new star Terence Crawford.

Yea basically this. Some of you cats are too cynical some days & not cynical enough other days, you need to get more in the Goldilocks just right cynical zone.
There is so much money to still make on a rematch even if they do 50% of what the first fight did that its for sure something it'd be less than shocking to learn either or both sides are at least discussing or trying to discuss.Comment

Floyd/Pac 2 will still sell 2 mil+ even though the first fight was boring as ***. At regular PPV price it's sure to make a killing.Comment

When I hear talk of a rematch I hear the chortling of promoters in a smoke filled room somewhere. Hoping against all hope that Pac's fans are dumb enough to dole out what's left of their life savings, to not just purchase a rematch but bet on Manny again. In the real world, well beyond the ether of insanity and the materialism of promotion, the mere proposal of a rematch should make people scratch their heads or wonder where the class action lawsuit is against Pacquiao.
The taste and texture of this insanity is rich and decadent....Comment

That's if the ppv price is $50 instead of $100 for the rematchComment

Dude, what are you talking about? In this video you see Manny throw several right hooks and they were mostly missing.
He throws the first one at the 0:20 mark of this video, followed by another. He throws more as the video goes on. He just couldn't land it consistently.Comment

Even if he did. Due to his torn rotator cuff, it had no zing or pop to it, hence it was non effective on that uneventful night when Floyd ran and hugged from a one armed man.Dude, what are you talking about? In this video you see Manny throw several right hooks and they were mostly missing.

When you're being made to miss you become hesitant to throw punches even if there's an opening.
Manny was open for the straight right all night but he didn't throw it that often esepcially after the 4th and 6th when Pac hurt him.
But Floyd said his shoulder was injured so that could also be the reason.Comment
