Floyd can then be on his way to fight #51 (his last fight) against whoever holds the linear middleweight title at the full weight of 160 at that time (in September). I think Floyd can fight 2 more times. Add weight wisely and bulk up a little more, however.

That can be his last fight. I never bought into the retirement thing. I'm sure many of his hardcore fans will appreciate one last, tough, goodbye fight as a parting present, win or lose.

One fan's wish. (Except I don't care who he fights at 154 on his way to 160.)

    Two more fights!
    I agree with your post!
    Rath? What do ou say?

        W-L doesn't determine purse split.

the split will probably stay 60-40.

True, but Floyd will flex his muscle evermore so. 70/30 or he declines the fight. He doesn't need this fight. Pacquiao does.

well, if there will be a rematch, i don't really care about the purse split.

as long as Floyd's style " level playing field " is not implemented.

                doubt it.

                floyd loves money.

60% of pac fight is more than 90% of 2 non-pac fights.

30% is pushing it where pac is better off fighting someone else for bulk of money.

floyd is smart when it comes to money. that's why he was fine with 60 last time when you dumbos were saying same crap last time. pac don't deserve 40 blah blah blah

remember his contract with cbs/sho is over with the $40 mil guarantee.

after the berto disaster, they're not gonna guarantee him that much again.

                except maybe pac or canelo/cotto.

if floyd comes back it'll be for those 2.

"Floyd loves money." Its funny how that works...There is virtually no reason except one that this rematch could ever be a possability considering the trajectories of Floyd and Manny. There are so many good reasons why if you are Floyd particularly, this rematch is not even a consideration....Yet I think there is a possability precisely because the love of money is aways the best hand in every card game, it trumps all other reasons by a country mile.

This rematch, however remote, will always be a possability, as long as both men are known, can still walk, and can see how the world looks when their earning potential as human beings, comes back to the stratosphere.

I doubt Manny pacquio is as cynical in this respect as I, especially drinking all that Jesus juice and what not. In other words there is some reason...and not just the spector of the big money waved at a man who just bought another Buggati, that Pac is opening his piehole about this match up.
