Comments Thread For: Andy Lee: Let's See Golovkin Face a ****er Like Me!

GGG is at least 10-1 favorite over any fighter he faces in his weight class. Are those legit odds? Nope. What it means though is the betting public and odds makers feel he cannot be beaten.
Everyone talks about why he should move up. He does not have to. He has every right to linger at 160. It is not like he has grown out of his weight class.

Pretty sure they fought in the Common Wealth games or Pan American Tourny.
Probably 12 years ago. I believe GGG steamed rolled him by alot inside 3 rds.
Lee is game and he brings heart to the fight no doubt about that. For a tall southpaw he kind of fights backwards by not using his height and reach.
He tries to box then he starts to fight not sure from what I've seen of him thats the right approach. I remember Manny had him in Detriot and tried to teach him to box to set up shots but he falls back to fighting and with real punchers thats not the right choice.
If he is in line by a federation to challenge then he deserves the shot.
Lets if Cotto vs Canelo winner has the ballz to put up or give up the belt.
Then let Lee get his earened shot, along with the rest of the top men at 160.

Lose, come back down to 160 and then rebuild your brand with these fights. Win, and either stay at 168 or come back to 160 as the #1 p4p fighter in the world.

That's like telling a Lieutenant in the army "hey, we want you to command this brigade for in a battle. if you win, we'll pin a bullsht medal on you. if you lose, we bust you down to corporal. HOW ABOUT IT??"

And it was contracted at 158.
WBC isn't stripping them until after because they have a step aside agreement
Do you even know what's going on.
The WBC was gonna strip Cotto, but Cotto/Canelo signed an agreement with GGG for step aside. They paid GGG to wait. Now they want to act like divas and say they're not MW.
WBC has said multiple times this week alone that winner faces GGG or he is elevated to Super, period.
CANELO and his fans are scared of GGG. They act like Ward is GGG mandatory for the MW belt. Hiding beside Ward doesn't save Canelo from GGG.
Ducking him to peddle this I'm not a MW story does. Just vacate already.
Then Canelo can take is 175 pound JRMW ass back to 154 where he gasses out and looks bad against top fighters.
Good for him!
Ward is the favorite fighter for Canelo fans these days, it's funny ****.
And Dan Rafael says Ward can't make 168 anymore, and has moved on. Wards last fight was at 172, against a SMW nonetheless.
I have know clue if Ward can make 168, but I do know he is trying to pull 168 fighters up to 175. So I'm betting it's true.
And again, Ward wanted GGG at end of 2016, when he knew GGG was gonna have fights.
GGG is unifying the MW division, whether Canelo stand in the way and gets KO'd, but mans up, or just bows like a ***** and hands his belt to GGG, that's up to him.

Risk v reward is the essence of prize fighting. He was willing to do this for Chavez or froch so it isn't a big deal doing it for Ward. Had he lost to either of them then he'd have been in the same position.
Why are you and others so deathly afraid of him taking on a challenge?
