but whats so crazy about golovkin being at 175. isnt he being compared to legends like robinson and hopkins already? the guy is a diva protected by his overzealous fanatics. roy jones went from 154 to heavyweight, can you imagine if his fans pampered him as much as golovkin, he would never dare to be great. golovkin and hopkins should never be compared, cut from two different cloth. you see how that clown laughed off the idea of ggg at 175, it was like a reflex to brush that off. golovkin is a protected diva. period.

If he beefs up to LHW, then sure.

That worked out so well for Hopkins, He hung on too long and fought LHW. Most part, didn't turn out that well for him.

Which is likely why you want GGG to jump up to LHW now.

Fighting them just to fight-I'm glad you said that because that's my problem.

I get GGG can't get what he wants and that its BS. Ok, what do you do instead?

GGG is backed by HBO and Ward is backed by Jay-z. Between these 2 en****** they can make and market the ward/ggg fight without much hassle. it will be profitable.

The only downside is GGG gets exposed badly (either by Ko or worse a Floyd/canelo whitewashing) which threatens the GGG/Canelo fight to the masses. GGG could lose and perform well and the Canelo PPV will not be hurt.

If being undefeated means you haven't fought everyone, if belts are worthless, if glory and challenging yourself by fighting the best is more important than money, then why isn't this fight being made??

why are we getting fights just to have GGG fight?

Ward wanted nothing to do with GGG until late 2016. GGG us putting his career on hold waiting for a fight with a LHW.

difference is Hopkins made sacrifices to unify. if golovkin doesn't fight canelo or cotto, who do you think suffers from that. those guys are already established. so you want him to stay at 160 forever crying about how nobody will face him. that shts getting old now. why cant he beat canelo at 155 and then go on about his business? the fight does not have to be EXACTLY at 160, thats BS. the WBC can strip cotto right now, but why wont they? if catchweight = coward, then why isn't golovkin a coward to you for demanding 164? is oscar a coward for demanding 158 for hopkins? you cant cheer for 164 and then go on a rampage for 155. it makes you look hypocritical. unlike you i call out my favorite fighters when they pull funny sht, ward is outta line for trying to fight murdock and i agree that sht should get shut down. but to dismiss golovkin vs ward because "ward cant make 168?" (How do you know this?) sounds like ducking to me. ward has no opponents right now. golovkin will not face canelo/cotto winner, if saunders beats lee, he wont see that belt either, lara is not a big enough name for him, so wtf is he gonna do? in a perfect world we'll get golovkin-ward at 168 and kovalev-ward at 175. after that match golovkin can go back to 160 and cry about being avoided again.

Props to Lee. Style wise this makes for a great fight. Lee can box and he carries his balls around in a wheelbarrel.

What sacrifices, Hopkins fought MW titles to unify. He took a CW against a much smaller De La Hoya.

And it was contracted at 158.

The WBC was gonna strip Cotto, but Cotto/Canelo signed an agreement with GGG for step aside. They paid GGG to wait. Now they want to act like divas and say they're not MW.

WBC has said multiple times this week alone that winner faces GGG or he is elevated to Super, period.

CANELO and his fans are scared of GGG. They act like Ward is GGG mandatory for the MW belt. Hiding beside Ward doesn't save Canelo from GGG.

Ducking him to peddle this I'm not a MW story does. Just vacate already.

And Dan Rafael says Ward can't make 168 anymore, and has moved on. Wards last fight was at 172, against a SMW nonetheless.

I have know clue if Ward can make 168, but I do know he is trying to pull 168 fighters up to 175. So I'm betting it's true.

And again, Ward wanted GGG at end of 2016, when he knew GGG was gonna have fights.

GGG is unifying the MW division, whether Canelo stand in the way and gets KO'd, but mans up, or just bows like a ***** and hands his belt to GGG, that's up to him.
