Top marks for including your criteria. Now its got a base.

But would you have Pac a bit higher if including resume ?

Yep, but thats what a P4P list usually is.

      P4P =/= resume.

That is ATG..... who you fought, and when/how.

P4P is usually..... ability/style/form, with other attributes sometimes included.

Thats why someone like say TC is likely ranked higher than people think, because its more about ability not necessarily body-of-work.

Body-of-work does count a little imho, because that adds the "proven" factor to P4P thinking, but traditionally it is mostly about ability/style/form.

I got both Gonzales and Crawford on my list.

        Based on ability/style/form only.

Gonzales is a cracker I got him right up there.

Crawford likely about halfway, 5 or 6.

What nobody ever specifies with PPV is how far back you should go with their resume - how many years back should the cut off point be. Ward's glories all came 3-4 years ago and then took a massive dip - for me right now Ward is a big question mark. I understand he needs tune ups but why are they so far apart in time and against such low-level opposition?
Gonzalez' trajectory has never taken a dip. Vladimir has continued to defeat all put before him. GGG pleases the eye but he doesn't yet have an elite resume. Rigondeaux is another who pleases the eye but surely with Donaire as his only major scalp and with the lack of activity then that must count against him. PAC has not looked as good recently the Algieri fight apart.
So I can see why Gonzalez and Vlad are up there and I would have Gonzalez higher because his recent competition in Estrada and Viloria are a few levels above Vlad's recent comp.

When does resume lose some relevance when we are discussing CURRENT P4P and not career P4P?

Surely we are always discussing current P4P on these boards? Why? Because the rankings change every couple of months and that is what causes the disagreements and controversy.

Hahaha and the idiots that followed the retiree are at a loss.

They have demeaned and spue hate on GGG the great !

But da MANG that knows is Hopps as well as millions of fans around the world!

Ward desperately needs to make some big fights or he will simply go backward and finally disappear !

Come on Hopkins, first you were backing Lemieux, saying he'll knock Golovkin out in 8, then you criticize Lemieux, now you think he's top 3 P4P?

Golovkin is not in top3 since he needs more scalps.

Or, maybe B-hop knows exactly why the so called top listers in MW have to be dragged into fighting GGG kicking and screaming. Even Quillin wanted more $ than he knew anyone would give him, basically nixing any real chance of them fighting.

Maybe he sees the same thing so many other scribes see, that behind the power, is a guy whose boxing talent is top notch. Whose footwork and ability to attack without ever taking meaning shots, creates a difficult foe. Who tucked chin makes him very hard to actually hurt.

Who is a sniper as well as a gun slinger. Who shot you don't see coming, and you feel it after its already too late

In other words, it's gonna take a monster who can take a lot of punishment while being able to dish enough to win.

But, GGG is a Fraud, a nobody

Such a fraud that most have to jump up to LHW to find a legit threaten him.

Umm, I'm biased in favor of GGG. No doubt, but your biased against him. You say he is a fraud, but let me guess, "he won't fight Ward doe."

Truth is, GGG is a MW. He has every reason to grab these belts and become unified MW champion. In historical context, in the 4 belt era, it's been done twice before. Like B-hop, he may of done it in an era where the legit threats were north of MW.

But hey, Canelo is about to embarrass himself coming up with every excuse in the book to duck that Fraud GGG.

Man, that's a whole lot of fear for a guy who isn't real!
Shut the fck up you clown as if your ******ed ass never disagreed with Hopkins before lmaO or any boxing pundit for that matter!

                    Fcking clown is hilarious.
