Why do you guys want to see Lara-GGG?

Until I see Haymon make a legitimate shot at making a fight with GGG, this is just more talk from a Haymon fighter using GGG's name.

This holds about as much weight as when Stevenson mentioned Kovalov after his recent win.

We all know damn well Haymon fighters NEVER fight real punchers.

People thought, man if he struggled like that against a showcase fight, journeyman, got his nose busted, #5 P4P, #1 ranked SFW, bigger, taller Corrales will kill him. Yeah I remember those fights. In regards to Lara and ggg... How are his own fans coming up with premade reasons/excuses for the fight not happening and if it did, with ways of downplaying it

Simply amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a fan base give x amount of reasons why Lara doesn't deserve a fight, then turn around and give x amount of other reasons as to why he wouldnt get credit if he were to defeat the Cuban. Mind boggling

i dont think its that people think lara wins i think people are just tired of seeing ggg in with the lemieux geals of the world. these guys have no shot they are journeyman at this point next we will get andy lee or saunders sorry if that dont excite me its like a million mayweather vs bertos lol and now he wants to call out cotto and canelo which i get but they are not 160 fighters belt or not belt and i think its a shame he completely ignored a chance to fight ward in 3 fights they could worked towards a realistic weight i think its just all the above and if ur not a die hard ggg fan its annoying.

Ah, I remember when IronDan tried to tell me Mayweather was the underdog in that fight. Not only did that get contradicted in the intro to the fight when a commentator pointed at the Vegas odds having Mayweather a very slight favorite, but not one source listed Mayweather as the underdog. More than one had the fight dead even, none had Mayweather as the underdog. That included both at the opening and closing of the odds.

look, if the circumstances work and they make the fight, fine, ill certainly watch it. But reality has to surface sometimes. There is NO public demand for the fight (7 guys on a message board dont count), there are promotional and broadcaster conflicts (hbo/pbc), and there are economic challenges (pbc paid lara a million for delvin rodriguez, so how much would he demand for ggg?)

its not an easy fight to make, and 99.9% of the people involved (everyone except lara and decubis) probably think it isnt worth the effort

Everything you wrote I agree with there isn't a public demand for this fight. The whole PBC / HBO thing makes it a non reality but I think $ wouldn't be a issue.

I think Lara took 1m to fight Canelo, Lara just wants the fight. They paid Lemiux 1.5 I'm sure if it was on PPV Itd do better #s because actual fight fans might actually think it could be a competitive fight.

It's not a duck. I personally think almost all of the top fighters will throw down with anyone it's just the people around them that prevent fights. But the duck word gets thrown around here too much.

Does GGG steamroll through Lara, there's a good chance but people would accept GGG fighting the Lemiuxs, Monroes, Geale, Murray, Stevens and act like Lara doesn't deserve the fight. But Lara probably has a better resume then GGG last 10 opponets combined.
