But this Division because of this little Promoters rift, this Division at the top seems to be just Stuck with Kovalev and Stevenson at the top if it with no way to actually make them fight

Ward vs Pascal would have been great!! Ward though wants to bring up 168 pounds to 175 to fight. That's not how u get ready for Kovalev.

Only suprise in the first bout is that Pascal took a better beating than expected. I don't think anyone expects outcome here to be in any doubt. Not too compelling, but not Kovalev's fault. He's really good.

Actually Pascal could've been a good opponent for Ward for his first fight at 175, this rematch is totally pointless!

I don't understand the gripe here , no Ward immediately , no Stevenson , no Gonzo or Beterbiev , so Pascal is the next best option as he gave Kov a viable challenge , probably the most viable since Boone . Would u rather have him rematch Mohammadi ?

That's boxing politics for you. Because there's no other decent opponents to get in the ring with, the best available opponent is a guy he already gave a pasting to. To be fair to Pascal he had one or two good moments in the fight but the outcome was inevitable, just like it will be in the rematch.

Just a shame Kovalev has to basically stall and beat the same guy up again because boxing politics are getting in the way of other good fights that should be made.
