In other words, since you don't know how boxing works:
    • The judging is subjective. In that fight, one of the judges was poorly placed by Don King. That's not the judges' fault.
    • The boxer's opinions are subjective.
    • The fans IN THE ARENA's opinions are subjective.
    • The commentators' opinions are subjective.
    • The guest scorer's opinion is subjective (Steve Farhood frequently has totally offbase scoring)
    • The ref's opinion is subjective, though he has authority with that subjectivity. Go back and watch 30-For-30 "No Mas". Duran says he didn't say it, ref says he did. Tony Weeks and Pat Russell stopping fights because they "think" they hear bells? Ref in the Chavez/Taylor fight stopping it with SECONDS remaining? Mills Lane allowing Tyson to have lunch on Holyfield's ear? Ref allowing Magomed Abdusalomov to basically become a paraplegic? It's all subjective.
    • The fans watching on broadcast - their opinion is subjective.
    • The fans on boards like this watching Mayweather/Pacquiao on slow mo after the fact trying to prove a point - it's all subjective.

That's what you don't get. The sport is filled to the brim with subjectivity. The only thing that matters is what is announced at the end of the fight, so long as it's not overturned. Period.

Going by that simple fact, Tim Bradley beat Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao failed his fans against Floyd and in many eyes he's washed up, a shell of a man.

Now, there's an easy way to settle it. Rubber match.
Bradley earned back the title that he once took off Manny.
Bradley got that title from Floyd being stripped.
Floyd got it from beating Manny.

It's all full circle. Now, let's see Manny take his title back AGAIN from the guy who took it from him TWICE.

Manny's fresh off a loss - the worst of his career from a rep standpoint. Last fight before he allegedly retires. He's either going out a winner or a loser. And he has a chance to fight an opponent that I feel is better than Andre Berto.

If he can't beat Timothy Bradley in the rubber match, it will prove once and for all that his ship has sailed. Bradley will take his rightful place at the top of Top Rank, have a few more fights before he turns 40, then pass the crown on. Teddy Atlas will have worked a miracle.

If Manny beats Bradley easier than he did in the second fight, it'll help validate that he was just off the night he fought Floyd.

He needs that fight. They both do - assuming Bradley can get past Rios.

You can break it down all you want as a fan if doesn't pass the eye test it doesn't fly the examples I gave you were clear victories !

Don't give me that subjective nonsense ,you can't sit here with a straight face and believe those bouts were scored correctly !

Lennox beat Holyfield in their first bout by a wide margin yet that was scored a draw

Nothing that you wrote can convince me that Julio Cesare Chavez fought Pernell Whitiker to a draw .. I know exactly how boxing works I been involved in it as youth and followed the sport for over 20 yrs ..The only thing that's certain is curruption and that's one constant that has yet yo go away !

Bradley Pacquio 1 is a prime example of that !

And Manny fought a roided Floyd yet he failed his fans yeah ok. Sure he did .

Of course he said that. He had Joel "I'MA STOP IT!!" Diaz yelling in his ear.

This Bradley isn't anywhere NEAR that Bradley. That Bradley was a joke that got the Pacquiao fight way too soon - just like Algieri.

If Bradley does better against Rios than Manny did, I want a rubber match, period.

He was in a wheelchair because he jacked up his legs from being clumsy. Not due to anything Manny did.

I don't. But what I believe - and what you believe - don't change the outcomes.

And the history books will reflect that Lennox failed to do enough to convince judges. Which means he had one job - KO Holyfield, or be SO dominant with so many knockdowns, or get a stoppage. None of that happened. They punished him for it.

Again, Sweet Pea failed to get the job done. See above.

Nope. It's an example of a guy fresh off of walking through larger opponents yet barely managing against a guy who had never been in a high profile fight to that point. The judges weighed against him because Manny should have walked right through Bradley. He didn't. The only reason I saw Manny take the second fight - which was a close UD, not a wide UD - was because Bradley changed strategy. Manny was losing the early rounds. That shouldn't happen with Manny Pacquiao.

Could you imagine Floyd struggling with Victor Ortiz? Why do you think Maidana 1 went the way it went with the judges? It wasn't because of Chino. Floyd changed strategy and fought the wrong fight. Second fight was vintage Floyd.

Khan, a man who is rumored to have a glass jaw, and Maidana couldn't stop him? Come on.

When you don't deliver what you're expected to deliver, you lose, or get close to losing. It's that easy.

Roided, yet all I hear from Pac fans is that Floyd has no power, didn't hurt Manny, etc. Come on dude.
