Thats what I thought the other day when the article about the deal came out.

They were uncertain about everything pretty much.

I think Ward could be a bit hard to deal with, he likely took his time.

Now he will pay for it if he cant land a good opponent.

Ward does want to get in tough before Kovalev for sure, guys like Fonfara/Pascal would be ideal, but its more about adapting to the weight. They need to focus on putting on the weight correctly and being sharp, get in with Pascal, then Kovalev.

Ward needs to fight a top SMW like Degale/Jack/Groves, or a good LHW.

                Someone like Fonfara.

Then Pascal, on the Stevenson/Kovalev undercard.

                Then Ward fights the winner.
sadly they've run out of time to ask any decent opponent to step up on short notice. this PPV is right around the corner.

if im RN im taking ward off the card. i don't support the two tune ups, if hes planning to stay at LHW long term, why not clean it out.

stevenson is out of the question, but that contract should definitely include pascal and kovalev.

biterbiev is also out of the question since hes with haymon. he would've been the perfect guy to test wards chin with real LHW power.

I have to tell you a secret, there are countries besides the USA, yeah seriously, if you walk past your boarders you dont trip into Limbo.

The GGG fight was shown in all of europe live and on free tv.

Gods, that's embarrassing. Sure, they pay better but I bet Ward is regretting his trouble with Goossen.

Not true. Not in any lifetime would Ward/Froch be PPV, unlike Ward/GGG, nor did anyone talk about the Froch/Ward matchup 10% as much as has been talked about with Ward/GGG. Nor was Froch seen as dangerous and GGG. To say GGG is not on Froch's heels is unrealistic.
