Problem is, would Algieri actually beat Crawford and most probably KO him?

Let's find out, make it happen.
algieri was an even match for khan.

algieri is not on crawford level.

Algieri may very well beat Crawford because he's acclimatized to 147 while Crawford isn't.

That fight might very well be Algieri's coming out party, it's a good match up though and a difficult first opponent for Crawford as he enters the division.

It would make a lot of sense for him to make that fight first before entertaining high level fighters like Khan, Floyd and Pac because he won't be the same fighter straight away as he moves up to 147, it'll take at least one fight to fine tune the tools.

Look what happened to Maidana when he moved up to 147, he looked like a complete zombie and got whupped by Alexander (just another example).

It depends on what fans want from Pacquiao and what Pacquiao wants.

As a boxing fan, I want the best possible style match up equating for the best possible fight, and that is, without a shadow of a doubt, Manny Pacquiao v Amir Khan. It is also the biggest PPV fight out there not featuring a Cotto or a Canelo. Simple as that.

What Pacquiao should want, imo anyway, is a legacy fight and in those terms, that is beating Brook for the IBF welterweight crown, possibly in England but the location is highly unlikely.

What I'm sure Pacquiao will get and I'm sure this is what he wants for one last, quick buck and that is the easiest, "name" fight and that is versus Crawford. Now don't get me wrong, Crawford is very good, he could be potentially exceptional but in all honesty, he hasn't fought the best at 140 and has done nothing at 147...why is this fight even up for debate? Stylistically, if Pacquiao fights hungry and his shoulder is back to normal, he will eat Crawford up.

Crawford is a good two punch player but he isn't great outside of that, is a slow starter and will just get outworked and then hurt. But hey, all three are better names than a certain...Berto...ahem.

Khan, just because its the bigger fight to be honest and would be a bit more thrilling because anything could happen.

khan might be a bigger name.

              but khan-pac more thrilling?

khan was throwing "PLEASE STAY AWAY" meaningless combos, running and clinching vs. a featherfisted algieri.

              he's gonna exchange with pac?

algieri couldn't keep pac off of him.

              algieri was going at khan.

              remember that.

                  algieri would beat crawford

crawford is a lower weight class fighter, he hasnt done nought at 140 let alone 147..i sure don't buy the hype..

he'll come unstuck as he moves up in weight....lucky for him the best guys at 140 have now all moved up

what does algieri do better than crawford?

                    list it. go into details.

crawford is 5'8 156 lbs. fight night.

                    you act like he's small.

Postol deserves it most, he would be my first choice.

                      Crawford-Pacquiao would be okay.

                      I don't want to see Khan-Pacquaio.
