... Just to confirm, you've tried ignoring the facts and now you're moving onto deflection by asking silly rhetorical questions?
Again, are you seriously trying to argue that Cotto uses CWs to gain an advantage? He's publicly and shameless stated that, you can read it in the articles I linked or by googling "cotto catchweight". Seriously, don't argue. The sky is blue. Let it go.

He only has a few fights left, a very small fighter for MW (Still carrying his punching power to MW), hence why he has been very "cautious" in his MW run. Dont let the GGG bandwagon blind you
2014 & 2015 are two years. The definition of 'couple' is two. Not sure what you're trying to argue.

And no one is arguing that he's a great fighter (I took him over Canelo) and a small MW. People dislike him because he stole the MW lineal (& belt) from old Martinez and is asking all of the MWs to drain themselves if they want to fight him. I understand that Martinez was just looking for one final payday and it's the way the business works, but it doesn't mean we have to like Cotto for asking for CWs every time he fights.

Very good fighter. Could see him getting a belt at 168

-June 2014 to this day, is 1 year 4 months NOT 2 years ... LOL

-Cotto did not steal the belt, he TKO Martinez after "Maravilla" could not recovered from the first Left hook that caused the Knockdown in the very first round (that 1 st round left hook disabled the leg )

-"Holding" the belt is all business ,for him not career defining (he doesnt need the belts nor GGG to gain/keep respect) (GGG should accept the CW, and the fight would happen)

-Abel has said that GGG would be "too much" for Cotto and that 154 is makeable for them . (I dont see a CW request from Cotto to be an issue per GGG's team confidence in winning that fight)

-Cotto is defending his MW belt against the most dangerous opponent to him and any other MW champion after GGG. Thats Canelo (We all know CANELO is UNNOFFICIALLY A MIDDELWWEIGHT, he is just in denial)... Cotto would have KOed/Decisioned Lemuex so GGG's win against David means nothing to me (David looked amateurish and worse...). Ps: GGG is one of my favorite fighters at this moment but I see it like it should be..... Cotto deserves some respect.

Geale couldn't really punch at 160 and he is a decent boxer but not some kind of wizard. He can have some success on a certain level I don't doubt that but against anyone real he would get mugged.

I am a Cotto fan, but that really was bullshht.

Geale is bigger, he's not like Golovkin who can make 154.
If Cotto beat Golovkin down at 154, he would use the same excuse as Geale.

Just as Gaele, when he gets his head knocked off at 168, will use weight as an excuse.

                    Yep, he does !

Just like Pacquiao did to him, just like Golovkin did to Ward, etc.....

                    No he did not.

He beat a - most likely compromised - Martinez.

Nobody thought he could beat Martinez, everyone said Cotto was crazy.

                    He stole nothing.

He should have dropped the belt if he is not prepared to fight at 160.

                    But he didn't !

                    He is riding the wave,,,,,

Catchweights should be abolished, they are completely unnecessary.

You are either prepared to step up, or you are not.

Yes The Real Deal is back baby! So happy he is having one last crack after Cotto made him boil down to 157, Geale was never one to complain though and I wish him the best.
