Absolutely not, BUT, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they sell it that way This place is evidence that many fans want drama, shyt talk, etc. That's part of Andre's problem, he doesn't do drama. He doesn't talk about his opponents unless it's in response. They have to do something to sell him and a Hopkins revenge angle is as good as any I suppose.

Ward and Hopkins never seemed especially close. More likely they realised it was never going to be a fight people would go crazy for. It would've been difficult to negotiate, difficult to fight and probably difficult to watch, and neither would've gotten paid what they felt they deserved. Had Ward's career gone differently after those comments, Hopkins may have changed his tune. There was a time when he said he wouldn't be facing Dawson and then it happened a year or two later.

I think hbo and the other business folks will do anything to sell a fight.
I know when they fight it will be a good scrap cause one thing I took away from the Hopkins kovalev fight is that kovalev listens to his corner. He's very trainable and that's a good quality for any athlete in any sport. Although I favor ward to win it will be interesting to see if Jackson can get kovalev to adapt and adjust to ward between rounds to were he can dictate the fight. I don't think ward will get ko'd. This fight is going the full 12

Ward's pathway to respect is through Kovalev.

A win would crown him as the P4P heir to Mayweather.

Ward is too slick for that stiff Euro bum.

seen as GG is ducking and cant draw flies to **** when it comes to ppv it makes sense to go after the man who punked your homie,,

BHOP already state that he will not fight Ward since real recognize real ,, and he been in the square cicrle wit kovolove so maybe he has some inside scoope on how ward could handle that ass???
Man, Ward is too busy trying to get middleweights and super middleweights to come up to 175 to fight him in Oakland at 2:00PM on a Tuesday afternoon, aired live on mega sports mogul BET. He isn't stepping up the plate, he's trying to carry that 0 to his grave the fraudulent way....but I've always known that about Ward, a fake bully who pretends to be honest and agenda free, when really he's just as self-serving as the next guy if not much more.
