First , props to GGG for getti g that apple commercial K2s done a great job marketing him . but don't get it twisted it wasn't really a focus on GGG if you know who he is then it's cool seeing him the commercial if you don't it's just a white guy shadowboxing.

It's like that Jordan commercial for Jeters last year and it shows a bunch of Yankees fans tipping their hat throughout the city. And all of a sudden Action Bronson appears it's sick because I'm a Bronson fan so for him to get that shine is cool but he isn't the focal point it's just cool if you know who he is.

As far as what MDprospect said about sponsorship being the way of the future for boxers I couldn't disagree more. We had. a fight 6 months ago generate approx 750 million in revenue

No one is going to pay you like you pay yourself and that's the same way with companies, The best way to max revenue is to create your own brand like Mayweathers done with his TMT appearal and making himself a brand. That's the way to do it in sports.

That's good news. Endorsements/merchandising are something that is incredibly weak in boxing right now. Ali and Iron Mike probably sell more shirts and misc products today than every active fighter combined. Happy to see endorsements.
This also shows that no matter how loved you are, people know better than to pay to see you fight cans.

Which is kind of crazy...because mayweather did it without any endorsements to become the highest paid athlete...truly amazing...but you're right...most other fighters will need to get endorsements and sponsorships to get big bucks...maybe Jay-Z can hook Ward up with some type of endorsement or sponsorship...

I thought it was ****** that they were selling a team GGG track suit... that had nothing but his endorsements on there... like the bank and Kazak energy conference

Also the energy conference has been riding him for a while... so I guess they lucked out cuz I think they were with him since his stateside debut

Being shown in an Apple ad (the largest company in the world) is definitely a great thing. It's great for GGG. It's great for Boxing.

They coulda saved some money & hired that Peter Quillin's stripper opponent for the role of "boxer with Apple watch" for this ad.
                  Exactly.

My guess is that Golovkin's fee to appear as "boxer shadowboxing while checking heart rate" likely wasn't all that far off from what they would've paid a fighter like Zerafa to do the same spot.

If he steps up and fights Ward, then I will change my opinion if GGG steps up.
Jesus Christ...this is insanity. Everyone looks at big dunns post previous to this. He disagrees here to just disagree.
