That's a terrible point. For one, we dont know how it would go down. And even if you're right, catching a beatdown from those guys is way better than getting beaten down by those 2 fringe talents, with much less of a weight disadvantage.

      That's Al haymon's work, not broner's.

Also, Broner will never ever get even close to making the amount of defenses golovkin has made.

And money? Please don't talk about broner's money. He more than likely goes broke between every fight.

        That's just ******.

Firstly, Kovalev and Ward are entirely different levels to Maidana and Porter.

Secondly, Broner was reigning Champion at the weight when he fought Maidana. Kovalev is reigning Champion two weight classes higher than Golvokin.

        Hardly the same.

This thread is a joke right? Broner is an overhyped fighter that will only beat B and C level fighters, but won't beat anyone of substance in 140 or 147.

He gets destroyed by Crawford or Postol, and all the top 147 fighters. Dude will have to settle at feasting on bums.

if he stayed at 135 his whole career he would most likely be undefeated yet everyone would be telling him to move up. hes had the better career, resumes are about equal, only thing GGG has over him is the 0 Ls... Not much of a fan of broner tho... on another not Loma has a better resume than GGG in only 8 fights... interesting

GGG is more professional and IMO the better all around fighter but his resume and accomplishments are less than Broner's.

Broner , for all his out of ring garbage, had no problem moving up to fight bigger guys because he was chasing the monster payday and trying to make himself a star. How anyone can fault him for that is ridiculous.
