Open your eyes. It's not about belts. It's about big fights and big money. The belts are simply the emblem on the hood.

Middleweight is 155 - 160, then simple, just set the catchweight at 157, which is in the middle of that range.

I believe Canelo will eventually agree to that, but Cotto will just run. I don't believe Cotto will ever fight Golovkin, even if he went down to 155.

Vacate the title and let Little G keep fight the crap he has been. He'll go on the "could have been great" lists 10 years from now.

There's weight divisions for a reason though and i don't believe in catch-weights when they campaign in the same division, which they all technically do.

If they don't wanna fight actual Middleweights then move back down. And if they can't physically move back down then they're middleweights...

Yes, you are reading a boxing fan encouraging one champion to drag another champion of the same weight class down five pounds below the limit.

And people wonder why this 'sport' is dead.

GGG-will have to agree to either 155 for Cotto or Canelo or 168 for Ward

simple as that, you have to bend one way or another if you want the prize of BEING THE FACE OF BOXING..He can not have it all his way,now he has a great opportunity to become great, but he has to make a choice and stop saying what he won't do.

Tyson was a heavyweight and American

Oscar was a Gold medalist and American

GGG is going to have to do what he has to do to snatch the throne
Who says he has to be the face?

I don't remember Chavez, Sr. bending for anybody. Turned out just fine.

The need for GGG to go ahead and give in and move up to face Ward so he can lose has Ward fans salivating so they can say "My guy beat your guy." Now you throw up some un-written, un-proven rule that he HAS to do it. GGG is on the right course to unify the titles. Ward's already in high regard, even without fighting. What is the big deal?

Little G will fight anyone from 160-164. It keeps getting narrower.

What has it not been this way in boxing? Biggest Draw and the REAL A-SIDE, not all of these new Artificial A-Sides we have in boxing but guys who can sell on Arenas and do decent PPV Numbers on their own, you either accept their demands or you don't get the biggest payday and biggest fight of your life.

Remember THEY DON'T NEED YOU! Cotto and Canelo Don't Need GGG!

Not about if we agree with it or if we're against it, if that is what the A-Side wants that is what he will get...PERIOD!

At least he's a middleweight who fights at the correct limit unlike Canelo and Cotto who can't make 154 anymore, fight within the Middleweight division, yet won't fight at the Middleweight limit.

Their gap is even narrower, anyone from 155-157.

Fighters from the past must laugh at todays fighters sometimes.
