20 years ago was Jones prime. He was really special once. When is he going to retire ? A brutal knockout lose won't convince him, already been iced cold a couple of times.

Although in my eyes his prime was a top 5 all time great career but his lack of realizing his weaknesses has dramatically brought down his status of all time greats.

Personally, his prime; a top 5 all time great fighter. I hope him success but I wish him to retire directly after the win!
Kinda ****** of him really. His style suits a young, athletic fighter with little wear and tear on his body. The whole hands down, rely on quick reflexes and head movement to set up counters thing has gotten him in serious trouble in the past. I personally thought he would retire after he suffered that devastating KO at the hands of Lebeduv in 2011. That was the kinda KO that ends a career. If he was smart he would switch it up to a style that suits his current age, like a Hopkins or Mayweather style. He might not please fans or create a lot of KO's, but it will protect and serve him better. He's been able to get away with what he's doing now cuz he's been facing Russians no ones ever heard of, but once he steps up in class he will get hurt, real bad.

Does his old washed up ass realize that behind closed doors some wealthy russians are paying off his opponents to lose to him? Or does Roy really think he can still box?

Roy did real good against a lower level opponent in his last fight but it's that level of opponent which allows us to see a glimpse of Roy's skill because the lower level opponent balances out Roy's drop in speed and timing so it seems like we got the old Roy back for a moment (when he fights lower level guys).. And of course he still won easy. That was an entertaining fight and a great finish. Not sure how Roy will do when he steps it up a level but based on his last performance I'm definitely tuning in, there's no doubt the man can still fight and he still got skills.
