He also trained Laila Ali and everyone knows Roger likes working with the young uns now days

Him being a 2x time champion and his nephew being the best of his generation is more than enough evidence

If you never boxed you wouldn't understand that the mitt work simulates transitioning from offense(jabs, powershots and body shot combos) and defense(slipping, sliding, rolling, and parrying) at the same time...I've had trainers who did similar pad work and to someone who has never boxed a day in their life they don't understand what they are looking at

and they come in all races....bro give it a rest....Black fighters deal with more racism in this sport than anyone

All you have to do is go on youtube, instagram, and facebook and seeing all the racists comments

A lot of the time, a black fighter will be the best fighter in the world but someone else because of their race or following got paid more, even though they were a lesser fighter

Look at the 90's ODLH was the cash cow...Jones was the best and the commentary for his fight was str8 trash thanks to Larry Merchant

Gatti was a club fighter in comparison to Mayweather and until he wrecked him he got paid less

I don't wanna hear nothing about no racism when Black and brown people especially in America have to deal with it on a far more regular basis

I ask myself this everytime I go on this forum.....I use to be on it daily but now maybe 2x a week on my cell.....people are too childish on this forum and the **** stuff smdh....I was making a thread trying to show how fast the kid picks up things even from a great trainer and never being shown that method or combo

Most people on this site aren't real boxing fans

You mean Laila who fought nobodies her whole career and ducked Anne Wolfe!? That proves nothing, and Floyd was a boxing prodigy who was in the gym before he could walk! He also spent the bulk of his early career with Floyd Sr who doesn't focus as much on the speed mits as Roger!

By the way, I did box amateur, the problem with your theory on transitioning from offence to defence with pad work, is that transitioning from Off to Def is primarily reacting to your opponent! Not a choreographed mitt work routine, because that is what Rogers mitt sessions are, Choreographed!

Yea...you asked, I answered....it proved you wrong....take it and let it simmer bro you are a troll with little boxing knowledge

there is no theory idiot....how would you know if you never did padwork like that....I have man SMDH.....JUST GO TROLL ANOTHER THREAD MAN....ITS ABOUT THE KID NOT BIG FLOYD

The pad work must be effective if Roger and Floyd became world champions using it
