Yes that is unreasonable if you're Quillin who only has a moderate fan base in NY. The only guys who made 2 mil on HBO were guys like Tim Bradley or Klitschko. Even GGG only made 2 mil for this last fight against Lemieux. Quillin will prob never get 5 mil for one fight. He don't want none of GGG.

If Bradley is making $2mil on HBO, Donaire made $1.6 on HBO, Kirkland made $1.3 million on HBO but GGG is only making $2mil on PPV? Something isn't right at K2. A PPV fight should at least triple your HBO pay

Yes when the fight only makes $5 million (100k x 50) and the cable companies take half. 5 out of 2.5 doesn't work.

Fights on HBO doesn't make any money yet people are getting paid what GGG got paid for his PPV. You're supposed to make more on PPV, right?

It is on paper, but based on what I saw from the Quillin/Lee fight, this is a quick fight via brutal KO in Quillin's favor. I've never seen PQ as intense in the Lee fight looking for an opening. I was actually impressed.

I can only assume he's trolling with this comment or trying to diss Canelo & Cotto by suggesting Quillin is more of a threat.

I like Quillin, but he's about the biggest space cadet, besides Chavez Jr, in boxing. The fact he seems to lack focus & still compete on the level he competes at is a testament to his skills I guess, but I definitely think Canelo will be his biggest problem at 160 (or 155 I guess I should say) & GGG would probably take Quillin out in the middle rounds to late rounds.

I will be honest though, I would actually like to see GGG vs Quillin more so than I do GGG vs Cotto or Canelo! Reason why is because like GGG, Quillin is a True Middleweight. I still think GGG destroys him though!
