    The defeat that was suffered by Tijuana's Ivan Morales was the best thing that could happen to his career, according to his older brother and former four division world champion Erik "El Terrible" Morales.

    Ivan (28-1, 16 KOs) suffered the first loss of his career on August 21 in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, when he fell short against Edgar "Power" Jimenez, but says he learned a lot from the experience.

    At 24 he's still very young and has a lot of time to improve. But losing to an even younger fighter with 11 loses on his record is a really bad sign for Morales going forward imo.

        He also lost to a guy with 8 losses and was given a gift. He is just not that good.
