These two are closer in terms of ability. It could be over quickly though as both have power and both seem a bit chinny, especially Jacobs. I'd go Quillin by KO.
GGG vs Lemiuex was a colossal mismatch, over 90 percent of the forum picked GGG by ko.

Quillin you never know what to expect from him, he's a great boxer and he can ****, yet lapses of concentration can cost him, Jacobs can box and **** too. I'm more excited for this than GGG vs anyone in the middle division.

When GGG moves up to super mid we may see him in competitive fights, gimme a shout when he moves up, if he ever mans up that is.

All it will take is Jacobs landing one good clean hard shot and Quillin will go tentative too.
I see a lot of round of Jacobs n Quillin just circling each other.
Hope it ends up like Lee vs Korobov either way.

It is on paper, but based on what I saw from the Quillin/Lee fight, this is a quick fight via brutal KO in Quillin's favor. I've never seen PQ as intense in the Lee fight looking for an opening. I was actually impressed.

Quillin has matured very well as a fighter since his fight with N'dam. I was particularly impressed with his fight with Andy Lee. He showed he's a smart puncher and not just a big puncher like in his fight with N'dam. He has a lot better overall Defense and can punch very well while on the ropes which will be a problem for GGG who relies on cutting off the ring and pounding away at his opponents on the ropes.

I see GGG beating Quillin UD because of his experience and technical skills.

I think the opposite is true. Quillin has regressed as a fighter. His showing against Andy Lee was awful. That was a fight he could have made a lot easier on himself but he threw like 2 punches per round. I think he's taken steps back since N'dam. That was clear in the Rosado fight and more clear against Lee, imo.

I agree, Quillen was better before. I think the long lay offs and weight hurt him. I think if Jacob brings it to him and moves his head on the way in AND out, he may TKO a tentitive Quillen if not than itll be a lackluster draw...

He would have won the Lee fight but because after the knock down in the 7th round, he was scared to trade with Lee due to not wanting to get his teeth knocked out. You can see between the 7th and 8th rounds that his trainer didn't pull out his mouth piece. He said later in an interview that this was because he was afraid that his tooth would come out.

He still showed a progression as a fighter and it also showed up in the Zarafa fight.
