    Not yet...

He has only beaten one world level fighter who didn't have the greatest record himself...

I'd admittedly have Abraham and Jack currently above him, but this won't be for long

What world level fighter has Abraham beaten? He got played with like a little kid by Dirrell.

Logically it makes sense for the transition as he makes the gradual increase in 7 pounds of weight from 168 to 175 over the course of a few fights in preparation for the big Kovalev showdown

With Ward now probably waving goodbye to 168 does James Degale become the number 1 fighter in the entire division?

A question also worth considering: does Ward think Kovalev is an easier fight than Degale, and is Degale essentially chasing Ward out of the division like Khan chased Floyd into retirement?
        Maybe the interim boss

So it's your fault DeGale now has Khantards as fans. Shame on you.
You're equally pathetic "if" you do truly believe that.

Is Ward gonna move up ? I'd like to see DeGale versus Ward, I know it's a fight DeGale likely isn't receptive too now he has signed on with Al H.

Before DeGale can be considered the best I'd say he needs a victory over either Jack or a convincing win over Groves, a convincing win over Bute will solidify his status as a top three competitor along with Abraham and Jack. At the moment I see no clear front runner, in fact right now Jack seems to be more convincing IMO.

168 without Ward is wide open, I hope he sticks around and faces some of the upcoming guys such as Jack, DeGale and Ramirez, although obviously their is the network issue, with the first two.

DeGale has not one victory as equally impressive as Abraham's handling of Stieglitz. I know this is hard for you to accept but it's just a fact. And before you tear down Steiglitz's record/resume, affiliate yourself with his career and that guy can actually box, is well conditioned and has been generally durable throughout his career, his lack of power has always been his Achilles heal.

Can DeGale fight for 12 rounds ? We know Abraham can. It'll be interesting to see how Bute fairs against DeGale, I'm not convinced DeGale defeats him yet.

DeGale beat Andre Dirrell who is leagues above Stieglitz. And Dirrell boxed Abraham's **** off.

Stieglitz is ****. I'm well aware of his piss poor career. Him and Abraham's fight series was like the Special Olympics or Women's football. Irrelevant. A battle to become the worst of the 4 champions.

                    Right.

Since Ward beat him back in 2011, AA only fought in Germany (12 times, of which 4 times against Stieglitz).
