Comments Thread For: Sanchez: Stevens Tougher, Bigger ****er Than Lemieux

IBO/IBF/WBA middleweight world champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin delivered a different type of performance this past weekend which still generated the same result.

Golovkin utilized a power jab and kept Lemiuex at a distance, eventually forcing him to take a knee in the 5th and getting the stoppage in the 8th of their unification bout before a sold out crowd of over 20,000 at New York's Madison Square Garden.

I agree with that. Lemieux is a stiff.

A stiff? So you win a world title and you are a stiff, f*** off.

Is it really that hard to win a world title these days? Three WBA titles in every division alone.

So Sanchez is basically saying that GGG's most challenging opponent was a fringe contender/journeyman. Has Curtis Stevens ever beat a world class fighter? LOL

Maybe it is time to go to 168.

I dont really understand Sanchez here ?

Many observers are questioning the quality of Golovkins resume.

Stevens is not one of Golovkins 2 best wins, I dont rate Stevens at all really.

Even in this weak middleweight era, Stevens is not a top 10 fighter.

Well, I would be surprised if he was ranked in the top 10 anyway.

And yet, Sanchez states that Curtis was a better win and is a better fighter.

Did he just throw Lemieux under a bus and crap on 2 of GGG's top 5 wins ?

He says the funniest things at times.

Did Sanchez just state that neither Curtis nor Lemieux are top 10 fighters, and that Lemieux did not really deserve to be a champion?

What the fcuk just happened ?
