Comments Thread For: WBC: No Voluntary, Cotto-Canelo Victor Must Face GGG

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman has mandated that next month's winner, between Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33KOs) and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (45-1-1, 32KOs), must face Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) next.

Cotto defends his WBC middleweight title against Canelo on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. [Click Here To Read More]

Already with the coward excuses at the ready. If they refuse to stand up, THEY ARE COWARDS. BIG YELLOW STREAK DOWN THEIR BACK. There is NO EXCUSE and their 'lineal' status will not be worth the paper it is not written on.

Don't think this is a fair fight, GGG is a naturally bigger dude. Regardless of day of fight weight arguments, you can't compare solid muscle to water weight. At the same time, what should we expect when Canelo-Cotto are fighting at "160" now. So, it is what it is.

Like **** Jones said, "if you can't stand the heat, stay outta the kitchen."

I'm on and off with the possibility of a voluntary. They'd definitely want a May or September date, but a September date would cut it close to Ward/Kov and a May date would cut it close to Pac.

Also it's no voluntary unless camps agree... both camps would totally agree to a voluntary
