Floyd is such a small ww that he couldn't make the cw for JMM and he needed an IV b4 the Pac fight. Don't blame Floyd for ducking triple G cause his age but no excuse for ducking PW and Margo who were ww and had the styles and height and reach to give him serious problems.

I don't think GGG should fight Floyd, it's unfair.
However, GGG skunks Ward.
Looks like Kovalev will Skunk him first.
GGG versus Floyd is ******.
But the weight differences would be comparable to GGG versus Ward.
Let's not forget we have no clue what Floyd's rehydration weig has been for a long while.
He has been hiding it. There must be a reason.
It's doesn't matter, Floyd versus GGG is unfair to Floyd.
Yswl can pretend all you want but the truth ain't going nowhere.

Ward rehydrated to 185-190 by some accounts. Any unofficial weights on record are not walk into the ring weight.
And you are comparing Floyd's once about a time ring weight to GGG rehydration weight.
For years Floyd has hid his weight. My guess Floyd at the very least comes it at 155, if not heavier.
Why else hide his rehydration weight. It also explains the need for the IV. He is cutting more than he lets on.
I don't think Ward is too big anyways, I'm just showing that the weights between the two are comparable. I think Mayweather is too old.
I mean Floyd doesn't walk into the ring at 150 anymore. No way.
Didn't give it against guerrero the year before that but did against canelo at one50 on the dot. Plus wbc 30 day weigh in scales prove that Floyd walks around at one50. So get out of here with that one55 fantasy.

So wait a second....
Guys on here don't believe the fight night weights of Floyd to be 150 against Canelo but are happy to accept that Golovkin was 5 pounds lighter than Lemieux despite clearly towering over him and looking like the bigger man???
I keep telling you guys about these double standard arguments.
GGG fans are no better than the *****s and *******s that fill these forums with nonsense. You can make your points but be fair at least.
You can't say you don't accept Showtime and HBO fight night weights for Floyd but turn around and accept them for GGG. It's ****** really.

Wait, so Floyd hiding his weight against more fighters is proof he is light?

Fact is, Floyd shouldn't even be fighting one54 pounders, you haters using his bravery and greatness for stepping up to turn it around on him with your spin offs.
He holds belts at one54 therefore he should fight golovkin? Does golovkin hold titles at one54? Thought so.
You look at him on the scales, look at him on fight night. He wasn't that much smaller than Canelo, and Canelo weighed 165.
Originally posted by Kagami Taiga View PostHe's right. Golovkin's a beast when u are expecting him to beat much smaller fighters and guys who have no hope. But the minute u mention him fighting someone who's bigger and more skilled...i.e. Andre Ward, then it's "why should he have to fight someone who's bigger than him." Well ****, the same reason u expect little guys to fight him. The boxing world is full of hupocrites, fans and boxing writers alike. Agendas abound.
I said the weight difference is comparable to that of GGG and Ward.

The average fighter puts on at least 10-15 pounds. Ward weighed in at 172 his last fight. Ten pounds puts him at least at 182. If you look at him, nits likely he was at least 185 if not 190.
Watch enough boxers and you generally can tell how much they rehydrate.
Originally posted by Sledgeweather17 View PostDidn't hide it against cotton, canelo, and chino, and those were the biggest guys he fought since Oscar, so stop with the smoke and mirrors, we see right through you. Floyds heaviest is one fifty one. The scales don't lie.
Problem is, no one knows for sure, because he hides it now.
It's largely believed Canelo may even of come in over 170 for that fight.
I don't believe for one second Floyd was 150 while Canelo was 20 pounds heavier.

He obviously knew that, how was it relevant ?
Mayweather fought junior middleweights while weighing no more than 151 is the point that he was making.

talker versus heavier, hmm. Nope, that isn't exactly the same.

Lemieux crouched down a lot.
GGG is a inch talker, but he looked a lot taller.
And I know Canelo weighed more. But no, Floyd is not coming into ring weighing 150.

And yes let's act like Floyd never moved up and fought world champions before. And let's act like he hasn't fought bigger men numerous times before as well. Let's act like that while still excusing Golovkin, who, with a piss poor resune, is being hails as some p4p great because he knocks guys out. But let's demand more from the proven guy. Makes sense. Threads like this illustrate why Golovkin fans have become the most deluded on the site.
