To be fair to Ruslan, this is much better than Mosley, and no one significant wants to fight him. For a dude who would be an underdog in most fights, and a good name to have on the resume, few dudes have the balls to get in there with him.

Hopefully, next year he's either in a big PBC fight or back on HBO for either a rematch with either Bradley or Mattheyse or maybe a fight with Rios. He's not a truly elite fighter, but he's great on tv.

Who cares? Ruslan has been looking for a significant fight and nobody has stepped up. He is basically a last minute replacement to save this card from getting canceled. He will go to Monaco, make a little money, have a fight with his new trainer and it won't even be on tv in the US anyway. I'm cool with it.
