This wouldn't seem like all that big a request if it was coming from someone at WW or larger who was equally skilled and successful. But the reality is that it's hard for flyweights to sell the kind of seats/PPVs necessary to justify $1m+ purse.

I feel for Chocolatito here but he's probably gonna have to cave in on that demand at some point for that fight to happen. At best if everything goes well Chocolatito could get maybe $500k for that fight but I can't see it getting much better than that. It would be a shame if that fight didn't end up happening.

Marquez 4, Pacquiao 0. I don't give a damn who HBO tells you won the fights, .

How about you headline a card and then HBO will compensate you accordingly, 1 or 2 million, is this mofo serious?

Glad to see boxingscene giving him a pass, had this been one of the hated fighters, they would've had duck pictures and other names all over this forum.

Estrada beat him once before, so he needs a better payday for a forsure loss.

Starting from 2010, Rios has been fighting nothing but top 10 opponents, he has not taken one easy fight at all. Look at his resume, Anthony Peterson, Miguel Acosta, Urbano Antillon, John Murray, Richar Abril, Alvarado 2x, Manny Pacquiao, Diego Chaves, Alvarado again, and next is Tim Bradley. So yeah outside of John Murray in that list, all of those guys were highly regarded. When you always fight the best that is available, and not no 38-29 journeyman, or guys with 8, 10, 12 losses, you're gonna see big paydays. Also another big difference is who Rios is signed to and who manages him. Has has Bob Arum and Cameron Dunkin on his side, so of course Rios will get much better paydays with that combination.

Gonzalez is a contender for the #1 P4P position in boxing alongside Klitschko and Pacquiao (yep). I don't see anything wrong with this. His fight vs Viloria was the most entertaining fight of the night and definitely showcased him as a fantastic fighter.

Estrada lost the first fight, and would lose again, but if everyone feels a rematch is necessary I'm all for it.

                  Gonzalez deserves a big payday.

And the boxing media should pay more attention to him, so he becomes better-known.

And rightfully so..Both deserve big Paydays, and is the biggest Fight in the Flyweight division since Tapia vs Romero.. And Gonzalez vs Estrada would garnish just as much attention as the Tapia vs Romero fight did..
