Stevenson wont happen quickly (if it ever happens), Ward wants tune up fight and there's an eliminatory set up on november 28. Kovalev has to stay active and its surely not by fighting bums like mohamedi that he'll stay active. Pascal got beaten, but still has been able to win 3 of the 8 rounds, what any other recent foes he faced never did . It will be an exciting fight, like every Pascal. You never know with that kind of fighter. He'll have to find a way to avoid that power jab . Thats what killed him in the first fight. Not sure he can do that with a coach like Marc Ramsay. . We all saw that exact same weakness with Lemieux Last saturday. .
I hope he'll give a try try with roach.
Fair call about the honored tradition of giving Pascal a chance to square the ledger, and its not the worst fight imaginable..... but not sure how Pascal can turn it around.

I guess it will sell ok, and it gives Kova a good payday and a decent outing.

But it is frustrating with the Stevenson fight right there.

Pascal is a tough guy but Kovalev figured him out and TKO'd him. Exactly what has Pascal done since that loss to make you think the outcome will be any different?

          Sullivan Barrera
          Dominic Boesel

If he vacates a belt after this fight instead of facing Adonis Stevenson or Artur Beterbiev then I don't wan to hear ***** from his fans.

WTF. Completely ****ing pointless rematch, especially after pascal's gift decision against gonzales. Like he hasn't even bounce back with a legit win for ****s sake. Waste of time. Love watching kovalev but would not watch this.

beterbiev just turned down the kovalev fight in order to fight an eliminator for one of kovalev's belts...makes perfect sense right?

That fight wasn't competitive at all. Pascal had his moments but it was a beatdown. And pascal is coming off a ****ing robbery win. It's a garbage fight and I'm a kovalev fan. Fonfara, gonzales, barrera, beterbiev, stevenson, braehmer, there are a lot of fights for kovalev why waste it on a pointless rematch.

Pascal was hurt real bad. He made it interesting at first, but at the end of the day, he was stopped. Wasn't really competitive. Kovalev vs Fonfara would be good cuz Fonfara is a tough SOB who isn't hard to find, and he himself has some pop in his punch. He would make for a good, tough opponent for Kovalev. Better than Pascal IMO.

Want to stay positive, and its good to see Kovalev back in action..... but yea Sergey was too dominant and Pascal hasnt done anything to indicate he can turn it around. If it sells good for them. Everyone seems to be milking that Canadian market, is it really that lucrative?
