Ha, he counters the jab at will. His ability to counter the jab is what makes his entire style work.

You have to jab him. He hurts you with counters when you jab. So you stop jabbing. Then you are toast.

Dumb****s confuses fighting off the back foot with fighting going backwards. You aint going backwards if your back foot is planted.
I disagree completely! Go look up some Miguel Vazquez fights. The guy will be tripping on his own feet and somehow he continues to land. If there is a boxer that can do that is him. There are also many more, especially counterpunchers!

Maybe as he continues his combination he gets a little off balance but I rarely see him begin his counter combinations without a solid base.

Better fights to come at 160. Yall will see. More belts are on the line.
I knew it wasn't going to be a Brawl, I as well as others on this forum posted many of times that one of them will come and Box and Not Brawl and whoever did that would win. GGG came to boxing but he was and aggressive boxer, similar to what Roman Gonzalez does as well which is still fight with Skills but they come forward.

Lem barely landed any jabs so I dunno what he saw in the fight. GGG actualy fought very well going backwards and threw beautiful counters, he did the same against Geale, for the limited time Geale had the balls to throw a punch lol

Kovalev, on the other hand, actually doesn't fight well backwards.

When Americans want to criticize GGG or Kovalev they always bring up this "fighting backwards" bs, like if you dont do this bit.ch ass sh.it, you are a bum and caveman. But guess what, the best fighters (Choco, GGG and Kovalev) are offensive minded fighters, who do this fighting backwards sh.it very rarely and they are still very efficient and succesfull.
