Can't wait to see him against Arthur Abraham, and whether or not he's made the transition to SMW well or not.

Any criticisms of GGG's resume are fair. He simply has not fought any top tier fighters. Now you have to be fair that this is in part because some top tier fighters have avoided him. What is also fair is pointing out how GGG wasn't really serious about trying to fight Ward.

Seriously though, even when he does fight Ward (and he will), then what? I have this funny feeling that the same people who criticize him now will simply change their complaint to "yeah, he beat Ward, but he was drained from coming back down to 168. Who else has he beat? He needs to fight Kovalev. Nobody at 168 is A-list" and so on and so forth.
I made a list on this thread of all the A-level fighters he could have fought or he could fight in the future. It's a short list. Really, there were only four elite opponents: Maravilla, Cotto, Canelo, and Ward.
Martinez ducked him, Cotto and Canelo will be seen as too small even of they do fight (which isn't a sure thing). That just leaves LHW Ward. So after he fights Ward, wtf is he supposed to do with the rest of his career? Just sit back and say "alright, I beat Ward. Tom, Abel, let's call it a day" and then promptly retire?

Just because the scumbag wing of Manny's (also GGG's) fan base does crap that, do not assume all of us will. That said, GGG could have avoided that possible rersponse by fighting him before he moves up.
If Ward was a LHW, then the fight at 168 made perfect sense because its inbetween 1`60 and 175, right? Come on dude, stop the LHW BS.
MY guess is should he beat Ward, keep fighting. The fact is a win over Ward earlier this year would have elevated him. He instead fought who he fought and Ward looks to be going up to fight Kov.
You are getting what you want-easy KO wins for GGG and no Ward fight. If you think this doesn't deserve criticism, so be it.
