Khan's best wins are over aged fighters, or fighters who lost when they stepped up. Judah, Barrera, Alexander, and Malignaggi.

When he fights a prime fighter, he struggles or loses. Garcia and Algieri.

i like amir khan .. but he did not face a true opponent sense the garcia khockout ... so the only fight that make sense for him now is garcia 2 ... and it's easy to make i think (garcia is available + wants a rematch with him + same promoter) ... so if he don't fight him now it will be very disappointing ... everybody knows that he's not gonna fight pacquiao ...

yes angel said after the first fight that he will never give khan a rematch with his son ... well ... i don't think he's serious ... it's a business after all ... and it's a mega-fight for both fighters like danny said ...

Angel made the very salient point that Garcia knocked him out in 4 rounds and if the shoe was on the other foot, there would have never been any talk of a rematch. We probably wouldn't have heard from Garcia again.

It's not up to Angel or the Garcia camp to chase that fight. It's up to the loser and that's Khan who has never done anything to try to secure the rematch except blow hot air.

He said in a recent interview that he was going to take the rest of the year off because he doesn't want to "rush" into anything.

Both guys are not scheduled to fight, and I think this fight would draw a lot of public interest.

Now that Danny is at 147 he needs a solid opponent after the recent soft touches. Khan needs a solid opponent, and there both available.

I get what Angel was saying and he's prob right they wouldn't have gotten a rematch, but if Khan keeps winning eventually they won't be able to get around it because I don't see him fighting the Brookes or the Thurmans of the division anytime soon.
