I think Ward's kind of spoiling style would do it and hopefully we get to see that. Otherwise, the only way I see him losing is if he gets greedy or HBO offers him too much money to turn down to move up and fight a giant smw or a lhw or if he just sticks around too long and someone like Canelo, actually, might have such an advantage over GGG. If he can avoid that fight for 3 years or so - yeah I can see a 28 year old Canelo beating a 36 year old Golovkin.

Ward beats him for sure
Also think guys with styles like Errol Spence and Roman beat gennady
I think Canelo will make it a good fight early if he doesn't get hit clean. He can counter and it will look decent. But he'll break apart very quickly from Golovkins shots because of him SLOW feet and crap defense.
Someone with speed and a chin would trouble GGG.

Ward is pretty much the worst nightmare for Golovkin stylewise. At 160 I wouldn't say anyone beats him hands down but Canelo has the best shot.

For GGG if you fight him off of your backfoot you will also need amazing reflexes to make him miss and counter. He has good footwork and he can cut the ring off.
I think you have to take the fight to him on the inside and smother his Power. Willie Monroe Jr did the best vs GGG so far and where he did good was on the inside. However every time he tried to work off of his backfoot he got hurt and eventually dropped
Nobody at 154-160 has what it takes to beat him right now though. YOu have to be a Complete Fighter and I don't see that from anybody at 154-160

David did it by accident. He isn't an educated jabber so that habit isn't ingrained into him

As I suspected, GGG has better defense than he lets on. But his footwork is not so speedy. He moves at a pretty deliberate pace. In my opinion his weak spot would be against a more deft mover, and someone very defensively responsible with a great jab to combat GGG's . Ward comes to mind. Really, GGG should avoid Ward like kryptonite.

Not sure I'd only pinpoint that, it's obviously gonna take someone who's a damn good fighter himself.

a hopkins, ward, floyd caliber fighter...
Golovkin is basically this era's tito trinidad,, he is gonna crush everyone til he faces a top notch p4p guy like hopkins...
I don't see too many guys around currently that can deal with golovkin besides ward..
Maybe 2 years from now j-rock williams may be a threat
