HBO was not going to pay another licensing fee for GGG vs Stumblebum, He'd have to go back to Monaco to fight a non-televised fight against Heiland or someone. The N'dam fight played out perfectly. Knocking N'dam down 4 times (Quillin knocked him down 6 times and N'dam is on his ass so much you'd think that Tecate imprint on the back of his trunks was a sponsorship) led people to believe David was better than what he really is when in fact he's on Monroe's level.

HBO is not going to allow Canelo to fight anyone else while their star has to sit and wait for Canelo to fight a voluntary. Where is Oscar going to go? He's already burned bridges with Showtime. He has no leverage.

So if Canelo or Cotto refuse to fight GGG next where does GGG go from there?
Every fight doesn't have to be a super mega payday buddy. There's only one anyway, Coto canelo winner. When you have two major belts as ggg now does you have mandatories. That's two mandatories a year he has to now fight. 3 when he gets the last belt. 3 mandatories will equal one super payday. He plans to stay active so the money will be there. I'm pretty sure he's already rich anyway all the money he's already made and the money from last night was surely in the 10 millions from ppv sales. He wants to be undisputed champion not mega super fight champion.

If his career ended today no hall of fame. When his Career is over he will be. He is great and will continue to prove it.

Not campaigning at mw his whole career it's a weak division, will have to take bigger risks and pretty soon the guys at 168 that can boost his hall fame credentials will be moving up to lhw
