How many rounds of that would Cotto take?

In Marg 1, Marg only put it on him for a couple of rounds before he quit.

Against Pacquiao he ran all night long, and was facing good guy pac so he didn't put it on him fully.

I reckon cotto quits in the second round rather than let us all witness the highlight reel ko with him flat on his back.

none, in order to take rounds he needs to get in the ring first, and that won't happen

Cotto is much more skilled and much higher ring IQ.. I still think he lasts 8 or under vs Golovkin but he would be much more competitve... Cotto's jab is gonna slow up Golovkin to a certain extent, and will win Cotto a round or 2

        well yeah there is that.

i'm just saying in like a scenario where they dragged him kicking and screaming to the ring and there were like expert marksmen with sniper rifles with laser sights on him and if he didn't fight he would get shot

hey, it's more realistic a scenario than cotto agreeing to fight

Cotto quits before getting in the ring. The fight never gets made after tonight. I would be surprised if Oscar allows Canelo to fight GGG either. Lemieux was dismembered tonight and Canelo does not have Lemieux's power and would have even less of a chance to win.

Kneeguel Jotto stops Little G in 8 rounds and Carnelo stops Little G in 2 rounds, .

Lemieux is basic, straight up and down with no special effects as Floyd would say.
Dude doesn't even know how to jab in order to set up his other punches.

That's one thing you can never say about Cotto. He has an excellent jab to go along with good combinations and body work.

That maybe so, but Cotto is a helluva lot better than lemuiex from a technical and ring IQ standpoint.. And Cotto has that sneaky m.a. Barrera type jab.
All I'm saying is that Cotto is by far the most techinical offensive fighter ggg has seen.. I highly suspect ggg will crush him late, but similar to Oscar-hopkins, Cotto will have the IQ and skills to steal some early rounds and make it semi competitive early

Cotto doesn't have the reach to make his jab a factor, against someone like GGG.

Thats the thing about having a deep amateur background, you know how to use your jab to keep that fight at your range. Cotto could never win a jabbing war with GGG.

GGG's jab is like Klits, no getting past it.

Cotto is 5'7... he was stretching it fighting at 147, 154 was way to high for him, and 160 is just ridiculous. He is a very talented fighter, one of the best of the generation, but GGG is to methodical in his approach to boxing for Cotto to get him to give up his advantages and fight a fight that Cotto could compete in.
