Better a slightly early stoppage than a boxer fighting for his life in hospital.

Do we want fights to the death now before we are satisfied?
Yes, I am aware, which is why I am not complaining. But people are saying GGG didn't get the spectacular KO, he was not allowed too. Understandable given the circumstances. It takes nothing away from how he systematically dismantled and set up the KO before they stopped it though.

The stop was pre-mature? Did you not see Lemieux looking at the referee after the liver shot? Lemieux was grunting hard and almost went down. It was so obvious the ref was concerned for Lemieux's health the last two rounds because every time GGG pump the jab lemieux's head was snapping back hard!

It was a quick/great decision, anything less than that and Lemieux gets hurt bad! This was a worse beatdown than the Stevens fight.
The only problem is David was still throwing punches and he's a know big puncher that can stop any fight with one shot. Would rather the ref gave a standing 8 count if he thought the body shot hurt David. David landed a hard hook 5 secs earlier. And boxing is litered with fighters that were losing in more dominant fashion and had the ref stopped it we would be robbed with many historic comebacks from guys who don't hit half as hard as David does. GGG likely goes on and still wins but I rather let it play. I didn't like the Gonzalez stoppage either. He just stunned and hurt gonzalez 30 secs eaelier in that same round. Both were a little too early

Not while Ward refuses to sign a contract to fight GGG; otherwise, GGG beats Ward as badly as he wants for as long as he wants. At which point Ward's fans will declare that Andre hasn't been the same since he went to court to break his contract with Dan Goossen, or since he had his shoulder operation, or that fighting a nobody like Paul Smith ruined Andre for top tier competition. I guarantee that they'll find something.

I don't think he even had a punchers chance. He caught GGG clean with his sunday punch, GGG didn't flinch. Throw in that his loaded up shots were so predictable that GGG wasn't even blocking them or slipping them, he was quite casually stepping out of range of them.

Dude tried to take GGG's head off, the jab, footwork, and timing controlled the fight.

            Hate away though.

You say that Ward has not appealled nationally or globally, yet Ward made a larger purse in his last fight on BET than Golovkin made on his PPV tonight and Ward has made a hell of a lot more money in his career than Golovkin.

Ward would be giving GGG a chance to prove himself by fighting Ward. Ward doesn't have to prove anything to anyone with his record.
Ward got paid by rock nation, it wasn't because he drew in the fans.

And the tickets were not all $16, just hate on.

I put that video up here.

Jones punch came long after he went down.

            GGG's didn't come that long.

Could he have sure, but it had no outcome on fight.

You can't beat him, so you want him to lose like that.

            That's some straight hate.

            Suck on something pal

Some of them will say GGG is too big.

                  David had no chance.

Up to that point he had already thrown his best.

He would have just been punished for more rounds.

He clearly looked at red like help me.

                  GGG is on another level.

GGG has all the leverage and no reason to move up and fight ward now. Bigger fights waiting it out at 160 right now. He has plenty of time to later move up and fight ward. But unlike ward he has options and leverage. More fans want to see him fight cotto and canelo and there is more money in those fights. Sorry ward has to wait

The Golovkin haters remind me of this guy.

"Rest assured, GGG is a bum. He has fought no one. Cotto can beat him. Canelo too. Broner even beats him."
