Povetkin vs Ortiz would be an interesting fight.

I doubt Wilder wants a piece of either one...

Ortiz looked good, I'd like to see him with a top 10 guy.

When the top guys clearly want shyt to do with you, you can only defeat what is in front of. I'm not getting overly carried away but Ortiz is evidently ready for a top ten opponent and I see absolutely no reason why he would struggle with at least half of those guys, I'd like to see how his conditioning is over 10-12 rounds and his punch resistance is before claiming he is a potential future champion.

With steady progression and a shot at the Chagaev Browne winner I can see Ortiz being the next WBA mandated challenger to Klitschko, he may very well be one of the most credible opponents to come through in the last few years aside from the drugs issues, hopefully all that is now all behind.

Let's have Ortiz v Chisora/Chagev/Browne, the dregs of the hw division, see how he does then he can start calling for Wlad.

I'm with you on this one. He has a great amateur background but his best win is over a washed up Monte Barrett. He is 36 with a failed drug test history. He hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse. He will get the winner of Browne/Chagaev (Chagaev will win)then we will see where he goes from there.
