Terrible news and hope he can make a recovery.

Sadly this is a possibility for any fighter that steps into the ring. This is why we should never call any fighter a coward, no matter why you dislike them. Every single guy that steps through the ropes has balls of steel to some degree. Extremely brave guys putting their health and even life on the line to make some dough.

People need to realize something. This is the second comment someone made about him getting back on his career. His boxing profession is over, effective immediately. No fighter comes back from this to fight again and nor would they take this kind of risk if they could. Lets hope he recovers to have a normal life.

Not that im in disagreement with your statement but I didn't just mean his boxing career. Hopefully he recovers and he pursues a different avenue.

I didn't watch the fight live but after hearing all the noise about how dirty the fight was I actually watched it on Youtube early this morning before work.

I know yall may disagree with me but I didn't think that fight was overly dirty. There was some fouls going on by both guys but nothing totally out of the normal. Ive seen many way dirtier fights.

I was expecting to see just constants rabbit punches after rabbit punches especially after seeing what happen to poor Colon. Yea the fight had some dirty moments but to me it wasn't over the top.

Anyway I do hope this young kid can make a recovery and get some sense of normalcy back to his life. I know his boxing days are over and that is super sad, I just hope now he can get to a point in recovery where he can have some good quality of life and live just like us all. Best wish and prayers.
