keep in mind that you have to run, spar, do all of your work in the gym, and make weight when you box. when your training camp is over yotu ahve to fight a pro boxer for up to 12 rounds.
he's not a bodybuilder whose training consists of lifting weights, dieting, and drying out / starving himself to look good.
bodybuilders at the pinnacle of their sport starve themselves and dry out well beyond the point of being able to box for 12 rounds. they also tan, rub oil on themselves, and flex under bright, overhead lights, which makes you look particularly ripped. even then, the natural bodybuilders at the top of the sport don't look all that far removed from kell brook, whose training and nutrition woulnd't resemble theirs in the least.

Kell is more ripped than most TOP pros, but come on, he's obviously on something.Last edited by Szef; 10-17-2015, 02:43 PM.

The point of your thread seems to be that Brook is dirty and Chaves is clean, because Brook is more muscular/cut than Chaves. Not to burst your bubble but a guy can easily use banned substances and look like Chaves does.
A lot of people picked Tim Bradley as a guy who was likely on something because he had the same kind of muscle definition as Brook. Impossible to be sure about anyone these days but Bradley certainly did all he could to get the strongest testing for the JMM fight (arguably his best win considering the controversy of the Pac 1 decision) and Brook did the same for his fight with Porter, which is his best win.
I'm not convinced anyone is clean, we know that even guys who call for and agree to better testing sometimes turn out to be the ones cheating. But Brook's side kept pushing for the testing for their best win, which is worth something and more than you can say for 99% of boxers.
